What's The Most Money You've Spent In One Night Out?

I recently sold a house that I inherited and through a party that ended up costing about $2400.

next month I am throwing another dumb party that will cost around $25,000.

I'm getting married!!!

Haha oh man, me too on June 12. We're right on par with about $25,000 too. Buying dinner and drinks for 80 people at $120 a person adds up :P

I think I cracked the $200 mark on Friday and that is very rare for me.

Museum visit on Friday afternoon/Night - Tour, gifts etc
Went to a movie and then a comedy show afterwards
Sushi dinner
Ended with a pinball tournament.

Lots going on, but it's not like I spend all that in one place.

I spent $600 alone just on dinner for 2 one night. Italian place in Philly, 6 course meal with a different bottle of wine with each course.

Was dreadful tho. Took her their as a "goodbye, we are breaking up" dinner. 3 glasses in and she was crying on and off.

I did prob waste close to 20k on her over the course of 3 months trying to give her a luxurious lifestyle.

Yeah, that is a waste. Hopefully next time will be better.

Cabo. Spring break '99.

Probably $200 on drinks, food and strippers. $40 on some very shitty weed. Another $150 or so to the corrupt, plain clothes cops that picked us up immediately after purchasing the weed. Good times.

I spent a night at a lake with some friends and spent about 15 € for beer..

and then collapsed next day and fell into a coma for a couple of days. And because I had just quit my job and was an idiot, I hadn't lined up another health care plan. So 15 for beer and 1600 for 4 days of emergency care +2 days hospital.

Which, if you think about, is really cheap. If that happened in another country, I'd be in debt forever.

Hmmm.

Most expensive meal I had was $1650 for 2 people at Bo Innovation in Hong Kong.

I've covered the tab for bottle service a couple times. That was a couple thousand each time. I've also had the tab covered for me as well, so if you even all that out, probably less.

I'm about to go to Dubai where for 2 nights our hotel will be costing $3500 a night (could only afford 2 nights so we'll be going to another hotel after), so that will probably end up being the most expensive night out as dinner will probably be expensive too, and we'll probably get champagne if it's not covered. So I'll report back in a week and a half to let you know what my most expensive night was.

EDIT - The hotel includes a Rolls Royce Phantom driver for your stay :) First time I'll even see that car.

At the Burj? Last Time I was there that was only for airport travel and you had to rent it out for other occasions. They changed it?

Surprised its your first time seeing the phantom, I see a ton when in Vancouver.

That sucks. It's one thing to drop money but it really stings when it's over some BS like that. I hate parking tickets. That said, those are some pretty hefty fines. You must have been parked on top of a fire hydrant.

The last time I got parking tickets they were for an expired meter and there were still 13 minutes left on the meter when I got back. Didn't have my phone on me to take pictures, not that anyone would actually look at them anyway. The one time I went to a traffic court to fight something the judge was reading a novel and barely glanced at me.

Yeah. It may just be for airport, I didn't read details as I haven't booked yet since we're confirming dates.

And yeah, I've never seen any in Vancouver or maybe I had but didn't notice it. I mainly just see a bunch of Lambos.

Not the most, but I paid for a dinner for 2 at Benu in San Francisco a couple weeks ago. With wine pairing, the meal was $1200.

Biloxi - Beau Rivage - Roughly 700 dollars(Roulette hit black 14 times in a row and I bet against it 3 times) It sucks to lose but the thrill is so worth it..and chatting up with people at the table is always fun.

The next day about 4-500 went to New Orleans for seafood and cigars came back and ate at Hard Rock Chris Ruth's.

It was a fun weekend. Id do it again.. Might spend about that much when i go down to New Orleans Oyster Fest.

C'mon guys and gals, hotel costs are cheating. Tabris, I think you can easily beat the forum record while in Dubai if you order a harem of escorts and a small mountain of cocaine and room service all night. Please do this and report back.

Which hotel is this? I've stayed at the Atlantis in Dubai and that was nowhere near as expensive as this.

My wife and I went out to a nice steak restaurant with another couple and spent $200, but it was on a gift card so I don't know if that counts. As far as real money goes... maybe $80 for dinner and a movie? Very rarely happens, though.

Around $2500.

I was in Dubai alone for the night and I wanted to have some haram fun. Thank you daddy for the money.

Maybe 150$ if alcohol, restaurant visit and concert counts as one package. Otherwise max 60-70$ just on drinks and entry fee.

Probably like $3000. Maybe a bit more if you included to other random expenses.

$2000 was just on a meal for two (Fat Duck)

A night at a private hot spring ryokan in Japan.

95,000 yen per person (2 of us) (so like 1500 usd)

Shit was amazing, the pampering and the amenities.

The dinner alone was like over 10 courses with alcohol.

Had amazing sushi, Kobe beef, abalone, lobster, sashimi, Shabu shabu, amazing looking food that I turn out not liking but looked amazing.

Like $300. Got shitfaced and paid everyone's bill, it was like $250 with a generous tip.

About 500 Soles, which are roughly $150 here in Peru. It's definitely a lot for a club, but that's close to the regular amount you'd spend in a high class club here anyway. There are cheaper alternatives as I usually find myself spending about $30 when I go to a bar or something like that.

One hell of a night out.

This means one of two things:

1) Gambling.
2) Running with a big crew and covering the tab.

I don't do #1 except with a set budget and never over $1000 and I usually only cover for me and my girlfriend, I'll only pick up the tab if it's for people that will pick up tabs for me so it evens out.

A bit of column A, a bit of column B and then some.

Probably $150 at the casino. Whenever I go to the casino, I go with a set amount of money, expect to lose it all/have a fun night, and refuse to go to an ATM.

Non-gambling.... probably no more than $100 on dinner and rounds of drinks.

I don't really remember. Probably somewhere in the 600 to 800 dollar range. Its usually dinner, drinks and a bit of gambling. Nights like that are fun in the moment and I don't regret them. But they usually aren't too memorable. Maybe because they seem so similar.

About 50k korunas (around 2k euro) unintentionally. Went to a strip on my stag. Gave a stripper my pin. Good/bad times

It definitely would have been in Vegas. I'm pretty embarrassed by what I spent there in a weekend, but I'll say I never ended up dropping $2500 in a night.

$580 for dinner. Probably another $100 on drinks after dinner. Another $20 for a late night pizza. That's for my wife and I.

It's really not super crazy though, we easily go through $200 on the average Friday and nearly that much on Saturdays.
