1v1, Reinhardt just barely beats a fully upgraded turret, it's hilarious.
Some minor issues but:
-I was messing around in the menus prior to joining a game and the screen dimmed, couldn't get rid of it without leaving the game.
-Had one instance where the best play didn't show neither did the postgame stat, but I was still hearing the audio of it all.

Everything is resetting.
I've just been playing literally everybody today. Switching as needed. Never really touched Reinhardt until just now and just saved the match at the last second with an ult+4 kills on stunned people.
Kinda lame that if you change characters constantly you have no chance of showing up at the end for commendations, nor do you get medals.

you can absolutely get medals! just depends on what you're swapping to. i have no problem achieving silver/golds when swapping when needed
Enh, not sure I'd call either Bastion or McCree OP, but all the autoaim shit is really dumb. It feels totally out of place.

Crazy how little coverage BB is getting in the shadow of the OW open beta.
I've only enjoyed 2 characters properly with ~5 hours of playing and that is bae Phar since I can pretend it is quake again and Reinhardt :|
Problem is as Reinhardt I rarely get rewards as shit and the end and when I do nobody cares and keeps going on about how good they are with a 20 kill streak >.>
I know I shouldn't care as I play the objective but it's still there in the back of my mind when I play him :|

Lol. You must be playing really good, because I think she's support at best. If someone is at medium or long range, Mei's gonna have a bad time. I agree that short range she can really wreck because of that slowdown effect.
If it makes you feel better, I often praise Reinhardts. You do a great job on pushes.

After playing some dirty bomb today it really stood out how much more responsive the mouse feels in that game compared to overwatch, it's like day and night.

It is massively broken. Don't know what Blizzard was thinking with it honestly.
I'm just messing about Bastion the turret is strong though.

It is not broken. Play the correct hero to kill it. Take pot shots at it with Hanzo, lob shots at it with Junkrat, 2 shot it with Widowmaker. GG EZ. Or you can continue trying to bumrush it with tracer and get rekt or whatever.

I mostly played her on capture point maps today
makes staying near the point and avoiding medium to long range encounters simple
Used her to run past Bastions too on offense sometimes
and regularly shutting down ults with the wall and her own ult

I restarted the game and names of my allies showed up AND enemy health!!!
And then it only lasted about 1 minute until they disappeared again. It's not fun not being able to see your teammate's names NOR enemy health bar. Blah.

For me it's Hanzo's dragon through the wall for a triple kill every time.

I mean, I guess you could keep swinging at the Tracer counter straw man based on the example I gave, but it doesn't really help your argument. It's still basically a Widow maker with autoaim sitting in the back of the enemy lines that will be replaced instantly as soon as its killed.

doesn't do nearly as much damage. pick a hero that kills the turrets dude. dwarf is probably one of the weaker characters in the game once you reach a certain threshold of understanding

I don't like Zarya's super short projected shield now because she should be on the frontlines, not looking for people to shield, but it's such an integral part of her charge building. She's best as an secondary tank but you don't always have that luxury.

Does Reaper just beat D.Va clean? I do great with her, but I swear to god that every time a square up on Reaper I can't beat him. Last match I had infrared from WM and a walked around a corner on Reaper prefiring, shot him 3-4 times, then buddy turns at me while I'm still holding the fire button, doesn't even move, and stands there and shoots me dead while I'm still dumping rounds into him.
Like, I know he's supposed to do damage and it's probably pellet count on a big character but shit.

So what's missing from the beta? Are there more maps?
It's weaker, but it serves the same general role of sustained, ranged fire support. Perhaps I will reach the mythical threshold of understanding you speak of and it won't auto-target people across the map as soon as they come into view.

All heroes have hard counters. Reaper counters most tanks due to his insane close range damage.
I just picked that hero out of thin air tbh. Didn't even link the two posts in my head. That being said, the balance of this game is in being able to switch your heroes on the fly to counter scenarios that are happening moment-to-moment. So you got bopped by a turret as Tracer. Switch to a hero that will make Torbjorn rue the day he put up a turret. Make him want to switch to a different hero so you can switch back to Tracer and mess his day up. It is really fun and I enjoy it a lot.
When I first started playing this game I thought Torbjorn and Bastion were broken as hell too. They can be countered quite easily though, and now I see them as some of the weaker heroes (though they all have their niche).

I love Zarya. I had a 12 kill streak with her while giving out small buffs to allies. I really really like Zarya! Shes also good against a stationary Bastion if he's in range.
