Exactly, even if I don't agree with a lot of his opinions.
If someone makes a fool of themselves they get laughed at for being a fool, simple as that. Taking videogame review scores seriously enough to go overboard on a message board is ripe for mockery. Getting salty over it only shows that you do take this shit too seriously.
I always like replaying the set-pieces in these games, and admiring the graphics, but I really hope I enjoy the actual combat this time around. The addition of the grappling hook and high grass for stealth is encouraging. The melee looks improved too. I'm most curious to see if the gunplay is fun this time around. TLoU's gunplay was great, so here's hoping.
Not all I am sure.

Pls Uncharted 4 fulfill my wish of going to 95 compared to my prediction of 93, you are now in between : 94 so eitehr one step up or one step down.
I think vídeo reviews are still under embargo.
Isn't Metal Gear Solid 5 a 95? I doubt this game will score a 96.

Sadly opencritic only uses US sites. A big flaw in my opinion (unless they changed that).
I agree that OpenCritic is a better review-aggregating site, but the bigwigs only look at Metacritic in determining the quality of a game.
Video reviewers are probably waiting until monday when they can use their own footage
What difficulty did you play it on and would you recommend it? was enough challenging?

I think FFXV wont even get to the 90+ mark it will strand somewhere in the low 80s. Persona 5 has a better shot.

Uncharted 4 will be goty and no other game will come close, 94 on Meta is nuts these days.

No -- only the X1 version which has like 10 reviews. PS4 version is more representative with 76 reviews scoring 93.

93. 95 is Xbox One but that only has 13 reviews.
Going by very very strong anecdotal evidence he's right. Of course its anecdotal, but the general consensus easily has mgsv as good but ultimately disappointing, and the witcher 3 as a guaranteed classic.

This statement can only apply to UC2 (which did go on to win GOTY) and I don't think very many people were claiming that when it pretty much redefined cinematic action games.
Then again, I wasn't yet a gaf member at the time, so I've no ideas what the reception here was like.

Can't say enough of how much an improvement this game is. Game deserves every accolade it gets.
I had more fun playing MGSV than the other 2. I mean, everyone mostly gripes about that games story, but man did it feel good in my hands.

Probably one of the worst communicated code discussions I have had now in 3 years of doing this. Sony was really going back and forth I guess. Basically now just told to sit and wait. Lots of stuff you don't want spoiled in the game.
Odd to think this is number 4.

94 adjusted for deflation is a 96 average 5 years ago.
We all know they be parsimonious with the scores they dish out these days compared to yesteryear.
