Zelda for Wii U reveal @ Nintendo Treehouse: Live by Reggie, June 14 6PMCEST

Dat e3 page...

I know every Zelda game is great, but I'm beginning to think this one will be really, really good. Nintendo looks really confident about it.

Agreed. Nintendo seems to be all in to this Zelda. It must be something special that make Nintendo to be so secretive while placing huge bet on it. What could be the concept "never seen on previous games"? I can't help but feel excited about this.

I expect GameXplain to do a 15 minute analysis on this logo.

Well, on the upside of this, I bet Zelda will still look like an awesome game. I'm excited to play it, and curious to see how much they'll show here.

I super can't wait for Zelda, but I want to experience the game for myself with nothing given away in pre-release coverage. Nintendo's E3 2016 is pretty much not happening for me now :(

On the other hand, there might be clues in the game design that hint at what NX can do... unless all the extra time was so that the versions could be significantly different.

All out huh? Seems so odd they will give a whole day over the game, yet it has a TBD 2017 date. lol

Oh well, looking forward to it anyways.

IIRC the original NES Zelda story prototypes had some sci-fi overtones with the Triforce supposedly being a futuristic electonic device of some sort with circuitry etc. It would be great to see that happen.
A Zelda game in a science-fiction setting sounds badass.

It's a digital event, broadcast directly to you, featuring just Zelda.

Nope.

In 2014 and 2015, there were Nintendo Digital Events with Nintendo Treehouse Live afterwards. This year, it's just Nintendo Treehouse Live... featuring just Zelda (AT LEAST on the opening day).

...present a live video called Nintendo Treehouse: Live, giving way to several livestreams to demonstrate Zelda Wii U "all day".In addition, Eiji Aonuma, producer of the franchise, promises that the new game will assume "a turning point by eliminating borders" and ensures that incorporates "a new gameplay never seen before."

Zelda Skyrim it is.

Nintendo makes a direct showing mostly spin offs and medium/small titles: "wtf is this shit, i wanted Zelda. Worst E3 ever even Wii Music ending was better than this crap"

Nintendo makes an E3 show ENTIRELY based on the best, most anticipated game they have: "hahahah pathetic, who gives a flying fuck about Zelda, i want gaaaaaaaames"

/s, sort of

But seriously, i personally don't care about anything else. I just want to see how Zelda turned out, so i couldn't care less if they showed or didn't show any other games in june. Only shame is that this will be the Wii U version, while i wanted an NX re-reveal. Oh well, at least we'll be able see where Aonuma was able to push the Wii U compared to other first party games. If the NX is a new concept or whatever, there's no guarantee it will be that much more powerful anyway.

Zelda Skyrim it is.

Zelda Skyrim it isn't.

"You wanted Zelda? Now go and watch it, you nerds."

It's interesting that they plan on having extended play-through sessions. This could be an indication that the game has a significant replay factor and a large amount of content and they aren't worried they might burn out the game.

It's weird, I'm sad about this news because it means it will be a shitty e3 showcase from Nintendo... But at the same time I will finally get to see SOMETHING about this game that I've been waiting for.

Nintendo is gonna Nintendo I guess.

Specifically saying Wii U, did not expect that. I would have kind of expected the NX version. But then.... the system itself hasn't even been revealed yet. Makes sense I guess.

This Zelda booth better be a VR with NerveGear levels of immersion experience. I mean, come on Nintendo, it can't be JUST Zelda, even an HD port of Xenoblade Chronicles would make me happy.

My guess is that this Game predates Skyward Sword in the Timeline. As in the Desert Region with the Time shift stones you'd see a Glimpse of the Desert in the past which was a more technologically advanced kingdom than anything seen before. Given the Nature of Link's new Bow and Arrow, and this technologically leading Sheikah symbol. Perhaps the Sheikah, in their prime, were actually a group of cyber ninjas. That fought using Beam sabers and laser disks.

Yeah I've been thinking this game is a prequel of Skyward Sword. All that tech...it just screams Old Lanayru Province.

Bring on the reveal in a month!

This. To compensate their idiotic E3 move, this might equal their ,,overview"-trailers before a game's release, which spoil way too much content and surprises.

If the game is going to be huge, i don't think they can actually show too much. Unless the event is like two hours or so. If they just show some of the game world, some combat, a quest or two, some new features.....it should be fine.
