Bro, you tell me where in Houston, I will be there
PMd you
I know, right?
Fuck me for being excited for the single player and then being ultimately disappointed by it.
People need to understand that AKyemeni's disappointment is completely fine because this game will inevitably disappoint some people.
The pacing is weird.
The exploration segments can drag, the set pieces are very humble in scope to the highlights of previous games, and the gun combat is so good that going long stretches without it (which the game does have) can feel a little frustrating and impatient to some people . And some of the open level design can impede the pacing too.
And some people will feel impatient at how long it takes to get into full Uncharted combat given the extensive opening.
Finally, the majority of cutscenes have little to no humor. The wit is all in the partner AI banter, but the cutscenes are usually very serious affairs. Some people may or may not like this tone.
This game is undoubtedly divisive in some of the design decisions.
I pesonally prefer U2's pacing overall and the more steady flow of combat situations. I think the balance in exploration and combat and banter there was exquisite.
I still love it though. The story is great and the platforming is much better designed here.
