My Amazon pre-orders almost always ship on Monday and it's always delivered on Tuesday.

Thanks glad you liked it. Been a while since I got to do one. The game is assuredly a looker but I am even more interested in things like reflection of ambient life and all the little walking around bits I can find and those odd attention to detail moments that sort of surprise us. ND are known for that anyway so I am sure its full of them.

People are watching their orders because they have an expected ship date for today. Shipping on Monday is the norm for me, and this is the first time there's been an expected ship date the week before, too.
 
Is there a reviewer in existence who did not particularly care (not necessarily hate) for UC2/3 but liked TLOU? I'd be interested in what they thought of UC4. If there is such a person.
 
Damn I'm worried. I just bought this game and I have it here now, it's in my playstation but if this game is just another walking fucking simulator I will sell it. I can't be damned to just walk walk walk walk walk and talk.

Well, I believe I complained. If I didn't, I meant to. Back then IGN had category scores, and Uncharted 3 received a 10 in every category. This was very obviously absurd and completely straining credulity. I rolled my eyes, big-time. I also rolled my eyes at MGS4 receiving a 10 in every category and GTA IV doing the same.

I don't even think it was some corrupt media bullshit. I just think people got caught up in the hype. To be clear, I enjoyed all of those games (especially MGS4, which I loved), but a 10 in every way? Oscar-worthy story for GTA? Perfect sound in MGS4? A 10 in replay value for Uncharted 3? Halo ODST getting a 9 on graphics?
 
I'm not far from a warehouse they ship from, so if they did ship it today, it's possible I could get it tomorrow, but I seriously doubt it..

You look way too far into it, they are only reviews. The gaming world is a strange one indeed. In the other thread someone threw a hissy fit over spoilers because someone mentioned it RAINED in one of the levels ffs.

I'll be keeping an eye on my order status but I can't say I'm extremely optimistic. I don't think I've ever gotten a game early through amazon. It's always delivered on release day in my experience. Still, I hope I'm wrong.
 
When do you think pre-load will start? the game is big and my internet need some time in advance in order to download it all.
 
Last time i saw a shop break the D1 around here was in 2003 lol

And i also got way too lazy to go hunting around, would've been nice to play it this weekend tho
 
so im guessing the IGN score will stick then, she pretty much confirmed on twitter the game was getting a lower score than TR so im guessing that 8.8 aint going anywhere

I am really curious now what in her mind makes TR better game then Uncharted 4.

I beat both TR games and besides core gameplay which I consider to be better then UC2/3, everything else cant even compare to UC games especially dialogue and story.

I personally consider UC2 even better then Last of Us and cant imagine that ND fucked up that badly that its possible for TR to be better game.

But it's just opinion, the general consensus is Uncharted 4 is better, so why should it matter that someone else thinks differently?

Just read her reviews. They're both well written and do a good job explaining what she likes and dislikes about each game.

Honestly, I can see why someone would prefer the modern Tomb Raider games over the Uncharted franchise.
