I am speaking as a non-comic fan here, but that was the worst marvel trailer I have ever seen. I knew pretty much nothing about Thor, Ant-Man or GotG before seeing the films, but none of those trailers left me scratching my head like the Dr. Strange one.

I hope I am wrong. I probably am as well.

How many times can Professor Xavier remind us that there is good in Magneto — by now a mass-murderer several times over — before one of them pulls a lightsaber?

Even if he is a murderer, he's still powerful enough to change the course of human history, and one side of the mutant co-existence debate. That this debate occurs over a lifetime makes it more worthwhile, not less.

Still, he could still chill on Asteroid M for a couple movies.

They should work on making their own moments like MCU does. Instead of lifting stuff from comics, they took an established relationship, Scarlet Witch and Vision for example, and turned it into a perfect set piece for film while not being directly beholden to the source material (Vision rescuing SW in the bus).

Otherwise you're just playing to the Geek Seats and everyone else feels left out.
