Art Style:
Hand-drawn watercolor imagery creates a warm graphical motif, while blurred outlines, soft edges, hatching, and visual use of onomatopoeias create an enthralling and vibrant game world. The melded style of 3D graphics and still images allows the player to move freely around a world that appears to have come directly from an artist's sketchbook.

Battle System:
“BLiTZ” represents a fusion between strategy and action battle types in which the player is able to freely move their units around the map with tactical precision while being immersed in the real-time battlefield action unfolding around them. Sniping from rooftops, crafting well-placed ambushes, and scouting enemy positions will all help to create strategic opportunities and overcome the many challenges of each battle. Furthermore, you will be able to customize your very own squad to adapt to your particular playstyle. Ultimately, it combines elements from RPGs, RTS and TPS games.

Story:
Europa, 1930 EC, a continent divided. On one side, the Empire, renowned for its military might. On the other side, the Atlantic Federation. As both forces competed for control, war erupted, inevitably engulfing the entire continent in its aftermath. This was known as the Second Europan War. Gallia, a small principality lying between the borders of the Empire and the Federation, had struggled to maintain neutrality amidst the fighting, but that all ended when the Empire invaded.
Gallia's resistance stood no chance against the Empire's forces, but just as its capital was about to fall, the leader of the Gallian militia proposed a desperate tactic to catch the Empire by surprise. After the militia's successful operation, the Empire was forced to retreat...
The "world" Players:

( inspired by 1930s Europe)

The Eat European Imperial Alliance
At the outset of the 18th century, advances in ragnite-powered technology gave rise to an unprecedented industrial revolution throughout most of the eastern regions of Europa. However, as wealth accumulated, the existing autocratic rule tightened its grasp, leaving no room for a workers revolution. Nations' rulers built strong ties with one another through marriage, soon giving rise to the East Europan Imperial Alliance.
The old medieval traditions were difficult to sever ties with, and although the new constitution did not explicitly invoke an absolute ruler, the nations found themselves bowing before a newly appointed Emperor.
It is a conservative realm, holding dear to the customs and prejudices of ages past, including a deeply rooted mistrust of the Darcsens

The Atlantic Federation
Unlike the politics of the east, many other nations throughout Europa saw successful worker uprisings immediately following in the wake of industrial progress. This led to the formation of several modern republics, progressive in their ideologies. Their people saw the rise of the autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance and, feeling threatened, banded together to form the Atlantic Federation.
Although the Federation maintains an elected figurehead, the group of nations frequently have trouble agreeing on a unified stance on many issues. The Federation thus is forced to rely on secret treaties and aggressive diplomacy. It is because of the nations' plurality that the Federation has not proved victorious in war, despite amassing a military strength far superior to that of the Empire

The Principality of Gallia
A constitutional monarchy, whose capital city of Randgriz is named after the ancient hero of the War of the Valkyrur. It is believed that Randgriz himself founded the castle here, and for generations since, sovereign rule over the nation has been passed down through his bloodline.
Gallia possesses a large quantity of ragnite deposits, and its marine west-coast climate provides a reliable annual rainfall. It is a fertile land, ideal for dairy farming and agriculture, and the majority of its population makes their living through those chief industries.

Ignoring the lv up of engineers means passing one of the best early game buffs, the "All Defend" order. They are also extremely useful in certain missions, such as Rosies side episode, Hard skirmish 8 and a few others. All classes are useful, if you know how to use them.
When you get within your specific weapon's range of an enemy, the arrow over their head will change from gold to red. This is the difference between 7 shots to kill, and hundreds of shots to kill. This works for all weapons and items in the game, from rifles to grenades to mortars to healing items (friendly units in range of healing items will go from gold to blue).
Edit: Also, if you want to change the facing of a unit without using the stick and risk moving them or losing AP, turn the camera to face where you want the unit to face and tap the L2 button.
Character permadeath is very lenient in this game. It is not hard like (Classic) Fire Emblem.
After a unit is downed you have 3 (!) turns to run to their body and pick them up. Then they're safe.
If you finish a mission while a unit is downed on the ground, they're safe.
If the character that is downed is a main character in the story (Alicia, Rosie, Largo, Welkin, useless Shamrock guy) they won't permadie but you won't be able to use them for the rest of the mission and in most cases you'll lose a command point.
If the enemy touches the downed troop first then they permadie. So during your turn if someone gets knocked down in front of any enemies, you should prioritize rescuing them.
