IIRC, it's either both sisters die or they reconcile.
Wow ok, didn't realise that. That'll be interesting for a later play through.

That's what I did. I assume it's a bug and it will be fixed in the next patch (happened to me in the main game as well).had the same thing. never figured it out. decided to just leave it be
After a year on the market and 15 or so patches, I can't believe it's at it's worst now. Maybe I'm just picky, but it's unplayable for me due to the fact that it makes me angry instead of giving me enjoyment. Perhaps CDPR thought they were doing the community a favor with this, but clearly they didn't have it tested beyond their studio.
Am I insane or does anyone else feel the same way?
Question about how far I am into the Main quest
I just reached thepoint of no return. Is this the final mission? Because if it is the main quest of the expansion felt really short.
In the same boat. It's strange but I find Ursine a bit out of place in Toussaint. Mind you that is Geralt in general here but still. At the same time I get overly obsessed with set bonuses and stats so its hard to decide.Torn between the Manticore and Grandmaster Ursine.
Manticore is awesome and fits Toussaint, but Grandmaster Ursine is so badass!

this has not been my experience.. switching tabs is almost instant for me.. I'm on ps4
Got my Feline Grandmaster set a few hours ago, pretty cool.
Just got my Griffin Grandmaster set, really cool, but WHY DO I STILL LOOK LIKE A TEAPOT?
I used a mod that fixed that but considering there was a new upgrade for it in this I figured they might have altered the shape of it. NOPE.
Y U DO DIS CDPR?!?

Gaf, I'm lvl 38. I have no more contracts to do, finished all HoS quests that were in my log and all other side quests that didn't involved gwent or brawling.
Is there anything else I should do before B&W?
Managed to score 239 in a round today with my Northern Realms against Nilfgaard. Spies everywhere.
Love the look people give when you ask them if they play Gwent. Their face says "fuck yes, I play Gwent, let's go!"
Cerys' card is amazing, can be worth like 46 points. The Queen stay The Queen.
Crach an Craite's leader card can really screw you since he throws all your used cards back into your deck, essentially making them unusable for the rest of the match. Medics become useless if so.
Yeah but it also means that you can reuse cards that summon all cards of the same type again.
No. I hit it at 40 and I very quickly was leveled out of alot of quests. Get in there!
Ayy captain, on my way right now!No. I hit it at 40 and I very quickly was leveled out of alot of quests. Get in there!
PC users have never experienced any slow menu issues up until this UI upgrade, so that's probably some of the complaints. This might have to do with how much stuff you have as well, but it wasn't ever an issue previously.
The console users have always had slower UI issues, so it actually might be improved for them.
Yea, I can see why. I decided to just reload my save. I'm gonna admit though,You have quite a bit to go but it all happens in sequence. It does give you opportunities to say "I'll meet you there" or "I need to prepare first". But given what actually happens in the story, you won't want to stop your progress. At least I didn't.

I have a niggling feeling that I would've enjoyed the ending I didn't choose better. This was not the case with the base game and HoS, where I felt utterly satisfied.

I'm on PC and the menu isn't slow at all.
lol... I spent like 45m re-doing it over and over cuz I thought it would impact somethingYou don't actually need to keep him alive. I failed miserably at doing so, and he just got up after the fight ended![]()
you do so much damage :O i think I needed... 3 'flip overs' (almost 2 ;p) ...and that's on normal difficulty hahaI just did that (third) boss last night. Let's just say the fight was over pretty quickly, lol.
I did both, since I saved at the right spot
Both are interesting, but one definitely feels better
yeah, the path i went down spiraled into a shit free fall part way through. reloaded and made other decisions and i was quite happy. much better path to the end as well.
Did they improve the AA?, the IQ is just astounding, much better than I remember.
Do you understand any of the methodology for why they did any of the changes or is responsiveness the only thing factor for you? I'd posit the trade off is that you spend much less time in the menus now because everything is sorted so clearly, taking time finding what you're looking for has been cut down.
May I ask that you spoiler tag which ending you both chose? Without too much detail please.
Seems like it to me on PS4, lighting is also better in a very different way, and it seems there's a completely new method for the motion blur. Haven't noticed the PS4 getting any louder with Blood and Wine though.Did they improve the AA?, the IQ is just astounding, much better than I remember.
They've definitely done something on console, because my PS4 sounds like it's about to take off when I play this expansion, but when I fast traveled to White Orchard, it went silent again. I have to play it wearing headphones.

the one i like is choosing syanna, but there are certain things you have to do to make it the "best" ending
There were several moments during the main quest that honestly felt a little disjointed and made me wonder if I'd actually missed something. Mid-to-late game spoilers follow:

I thought it was odd that Detlaff attacked Beauclair prematurely. Did three days really go by with Geralt and Regis doing nothing? I thought the timeline was that they stormed the castle, and it was during their subsequent meeting with the Duchess that Detlaff and his vampires attacked without warning
Regis stated that Detlaff was impulsive, headstrong, and easily guided by his emotions. However, he also mentioned that he is not malicious towards humans. I find it odd that he chose to attack Beauclair in order to force Syanna into a meeting. It would've made more sense if he confronted Geralt and Regis instead of taking out his frustration on innocents.
You'll learn more about Syanna's character and life story if you choose to help her instead of seeking the Unseen Elder.
