If Wiggins was in that role we would have never gotten Shumpert or Smith because we wouldn't have been looking for help at that position in the first place.

It's a fundamentally flawed point. Unless the argument is that Wiggins would have been a more solid contributor than Smith and Shumpert have been. I'm not so sure that'd be the case given the limited touches he would have had in CLE compared to his experience in MN.
