the trick with coil whine is not to have coil whine
the fact that you can pay 700dollars for a gpu and it made it through QA while having coil whine is retarded
coil whine was never an issue in the past , only a very rare problem, now it's common as shit and noone seems to give a shit
I'll second this.
The solution is not to put up with stupid shit that shouldn't be busted in the first place.
I just want to say that if more people understood this and took this attitude we would all have nicer things.
It'll probably be available to purchase during the middle of the night anyway.Lawd don't temp me. Must.get.1070.

I signed up for auto notify for the Gigabyte card. I'm still waiting.Would love to have a chance here but it will probably sell out before I can get to it :/
Is it even worth signing up for auto notify? Or is it the notification given to late and not useful?
Enough said lolI signed up for auto notify for the Gigabyte card. I'm still waiting.
As someone asked via PM here is a sound test of the G1 running at 55% fan speed, 73 degrees on the card and at 2075/5500 on the card.
Over a game I can't hear it at all.
Whats your voltage %?Here's Doom after an hour. Clocks settled here.![]()
Arghhhh... So many people getting their EVGA cards shipped and still nothing from NCIX..Come on EVGA, show a bit of love for Canada.

im in the step of queue since the day after they put them on the site i'm guessing I have a lot longer to wait
HA! Im intimidated by that....I love the cpu cooler closed loop. Its corsair hx100i v2.
That's beautiful.
I would be going SLI as well, if Fast Sync wasn't disabled in SLI.
How about a sexy new HTC Vive to go with that GTX 1080?Well I just bought the 27" 1440 144hz g sync monitor that was posted on gaf a bit earlier. I figured I might as well utilize the GTX 1080 properly that I have on order.
How far down does this rabbit hole go?

If you don't already have one, that is lol.
Edit: Also get a decent M.2 x4 Gen-3 SSD like the Samsung 950 Proif your mobo supports Gen3s with up to 32Gbps.
We need the HB SLI bridge already. Wanna see how much better the benchmarks are.
Haha that's awesome man. One of my main reasons for saying fuck it and just going for a new build now is the HTC Vive; got to try it very recently and it was quite the experience to say the least.I've had one since launch and love it. That is what made me want to get the 1080.
Buy Vive. Want 1080. Buy 1080. Want Monitor. Buy Monitor. Want...
I just got the Acer predator xb271hu 1440p 144hz gsync monitor. Im in love with it. Gsync is amazing, Im wondering if fastsync would even help at that point. would it?
550w for base minimum could do but going with the 650w like you're doing now is definitely the better choice imo as well.edit: Going with the 650w
Can someone tell me why I should buy the Strix version?

Still no ETA from Amazon........![]()
So the cards are roughly $1.2K AUD. What the hell man. And here I was thinking I'd wait for the 1080 Ti.... Which will probably be over 1.5K.
Idk what to do. My 780 Ti can't keep up anymore.

Had a look on Overclockers and no sign of it's clockspeeds, and as Ikuu has just said, the price has gone up now.
I'm beginning to think that the Inno3D cards will go up soon too. They all seem to be rising in price which is a major pain in the arse.(
