Zelda U/NX promo image leaks from Amazon.com

I'm expecting some kind of "changing overworld" mechanic, but I'd be bummed out if this is just Timeshift: The Game. Skyward Sword's ideas were something special, but I'm more excited for them to come up with new mechanics rather than expand or retread old ones.
 
Honestly, high-octane TPS with Jake Mueller sounds awesome... especially if he can toss his Wesker shades at enemies, who'll catch them all befuddled before he matrixes in and KUNG-FUS THEIR FACES
 
Great piece of artwork. I want the game to open with Link rock climbing, Mission Impossible 2 style.

At the top he finds a cache with locations to his next mission/dungeon. He equips the lens of truth, which in this game takes the form of a trendy pair of sunglasses, then boom, late title card sequence.

THE LEGEND OF ZELDA. YEAH.

It is only a shower tought
And it is not just the hood, the shirt design is different too.
Why nintendo made different patern designs for the same cloth????
And is 1 link and 1 zelda

Maybe link is just bait. Not necesarly zelda´s twin brother.

It makes sense if the game title is The legend of Zelda, we finally could learn why is she a legend.

Yeah I agree. I loved the timeshift stones in SS but they've already milked to their logical conclusion in that game alone. They don't need to make a comeback. Also it really isn't Nintendo's style either.
 
Lol this GameXplain video is funny. Andres left to catch a flight and then they stopped recording, and right after that Nintendo decided to post the full art.
 
I love Gamexplain. I don't get why it's funny they want to discuss it considering we're all on dedicated video game boards discussing it for hours upon hours.

Who said I didn't love them? A 27 minute video on one piece of art is still funny. And I'll still watch it, so the joke's on me!
 
Watching the gamexplain discussion and it's interesting how they mentioned that comparing the location points from this image to the game awards show footage in 2014, the actual size of the map hasn't changed at all. It's like Nintendo by that time already decided on what the actual world size would be and they have been spending all this years just filling it with loooooooooooots of stuff to do in it, instead of continue making the world map bigger and bigger.

I finally changed by wallpaper on my computer to Zelda U lol. I've been meaning to do it for weeks and forgot. Anyways, I got this nice rock climbing picture I used!

This has been my phone screen for a few weeks now. If I was any good I would make a phone protector resembling the Sheikah Tome to go along with it. I'm glad the bulk of the conferences are tomorrow. It will ease the pain of the wait.
