Where can I see the re-live version?
For those who came in late can manage the thread with my chrome extension btw.

Impulse Gear has an unproven track record and was founded in 2013. I give two shits about Far Point until I need to.
You do not need PSVR to play Resident Evil 7. An add on feature does not warrant a $400 tag, no.
Everything else you mentioned are single level gameplay or limited in scope. In other words. gimmicky glorified tech demoes.
Do you intend on playing VR games with an audience? If not your disdain is a tad misleading; you'll be using this- and any other ridiculous looking controller-- while having your view completely blocked off by the headset, and presumably not in front of anybody else. Even if you were playing in front of people WHO THE FUCK CARES? VR is about YOU. What YOU are experiencing. Who gives a shit what people that are observing you (unlikely) externally observing you think.
lmao
I have no fucking clue who Sony is anymore
Totally missed those man!Did you miss the part when Connor (?) from Detroit started climbing up a rock cliff surrounded by lush tropical trees? Or when SSM showed off Kratos' new pickaxe climbing mechanic?
Boy are you in for a treat.
You're being awfully selective and goal posting to argue my point. I'm not seeing the value. Throwing a bunch of shit at the screen and saying "look at all theeeeese!" is not a selling point. I wasn't born yesterday and saw this same "push" with the wii ("oooh fucking look, use a wiimote with twilight princess!!!!!!") and its shovelware library.

I for one cannot wait to experience all the Uncharted/Tomb Raider influences in my new Spidey game.
Spidey's new wooden web-slinging bow looked great. Insomniac taking tips from CD there.
You don't understand. I'm fully on board the PSVR bandwagon and have one pre-ordered. My concern is my wife is going to rip the piss out of me.
Wat does a proven track record have to do with the fact that they're making a game, that Sony is supporting, specifically for Vr? You were talking about a Vr push, not ur personal opinions on the developer.
Same with resident evil, it's not about you. It's about the fact that it is in fact a Vr push.
The 3 "gimmicky" things. Are using massive franchises. It doesn't matter if it's a short tech demo, if a star wars fan sees Vr X-Wing they're gonna wanna experience that. That is a Vr push....
Also u conveniently ignored 50 games from launch throughout the yr. That is a Vr push
I thought so too until tonight while we sat in that theater and she said..I want one. Idk I kinda like the idea of criticism more now, cuz now I gotta dish out $1000 lolI feel ya. There are many of us that are going to have to endure the criticism of our partners.
Nioh? ....![]()
Still can't get over how hype this orchestra is

Ha, people care about?
People lost their shit in november 2013 when Uncharted 4 was unveiled and now the gaming forum is littered with complaints about Sam, pacing, Gunplay being shallow, etc.
People get hyped only to resort to complaining. They're not games that anyone cares about until the games have been played and beaten. As we realistically know, it doesn't always go this way and people will eventually use an actual foundation to decide whether they're in the mood to bitch after three years of convincing themselves that these games are "AMAZING!",

Now, Go d of War and RE 7 look like games from other IPs. So the other argument is, rightly or wrongly, whether they were better off being themselves rather than take on the blueprint made famous by another IP. You may have noticed the abundance of "lol its tlou again!" comments earlier today.
It is a damn if you do or dont situation and then when you DO, its a matter of what and how you did it.
So...can we expect FFVII at PSX again or perhaps TGS?
Gamescom maybe?
I'm tired of negativity. You can be pissed, but let those that want to be excited, be excited. Goddamn. So are you open to being wrong about these amazing games? or will you secretly hate them yet stick to your 3 year public "amaze " parade ?
I know a bunch of users who were hyped to the moon for uncharted 4 and came off hating it. So, in my view, the whole "holy shit so amaze" shtick was a confounded waste of energy and noise.
Don't be surprised if you don't see it at any of those events this is SE we are talking about.

I missed it, was it any good? Did they talk about Neo?
Was I the only one who found the show a little short? I guess I was hoping for a 2+ hour conference.

Why would I secretly hate a game? I'm perfectly capable of being excited for a game and then critique or "hate" it later. So are you open to being wrong about these amazing games? or will you secretly hate them yet stick to your 3 year public "amaze " parade ?

What direction are these conferences and the industry headed in?I'm not, but in fairness, we also don't need a bunch of people asking others to not be skeptic about the direction these conferences and the industry are heading in.
