Same here. Austin's tastes are closest to mine and I'd still say they're very different. That's okay.
Rarely do I actually stop and say "what?" about their opinions since I gained a broad sense of what they're about. Say, on the Sony conference, I understood their perspective. Only line to give me pause was saying it lacked fun, which is one of those nebulous criticisms that mean nothing. And the implication that other conferences were (intended to be) fun. But Syndicate getting 5/5 gives me an appreciation for them liking what they like. Or Kerbal and Invisible Inc being on GOTY instead of Witcher 3 and Bloodborne.

Of topic: I caught up on the latest episode of Danswers today, jesus some of that was hard to listen to. I didn't ever think any content from a gaming site would ever have me on the verge of crying. I am so soft now that I'm a dad, it's turned me into a softy.

This has been such a bland E3. There was not much shown that did anything for me.

I want to broaden my horizons and play a 4x game. Endless Legend is super cheap on humble. Hmmm...
Will probably just play more Overwatch and hate myself because that game has for some reason lost all its charm for me

If you main Mei just find ways to be a dick to the enemy rather than directly contributing to your team.
I'd say not showering before going to a convention is worth calling out.
Could have made it less specific but sometimes it's so repugnant you just have to go for it. Bad smells is something I have a very tough time tolerating.

Nah rarely play her. I just got overly competitive with the game (which is strange because I don't even play mp games usually) and now it drives me crazy when people dont "play properly", in pugs or groups.
Last 2 or 3 days I barely played 2 matches a day before logging off angry (even with wins).

Err, wasn't Dead Rising 1 like, the entire game was timed? You only had like six hours of play time and the game ended or something. It's been a while since I played it but that's what I remembered.
This is the death of fun for pretty much every MP game. I'm not trying to take it too seriously, haven't even played the last 2 days because I'm in E3 mode
