Apparently the game now you lets play in active mode which has you pressing the button in order to attack instead of holding it. In this mode you have to press while in the default mode you can hold it.
Where'd you get this info from?

So excited.
Now please throw 500 programmers at this game so it's visually and technically competent on release.
Where did the Campanile (the big clock tower) go, that is so typical for Venice and certainly a Venice-inspired city?

Here with campanile next to the multiple domed cathedral:

And here already without (from the Uncovered event world trailer):

i mean i don't know if it's actually their language but it's in there so who knows just don't break my dream

Wasn't it always like that though? Only difference would be if attacks are 1:1.
based on the layout I'm seeing, off-screen to the right of your first SS.
This game looks fucking magical at times.
Still wish I knew what the scale was going to be like.
That's...definitely an "air ship". Yep, it's certainly an "air ship", alright.
At least it's not a car that has a hot air balloon attached to the roof of the vehicle.

What do you mean? If the airship video doesn't show the scale, I don't know what would.
He's referring to this

I was ready to write this game off after the abysmal showings at Microsoft's/Sony's press conferences but that Altissia video is incredible![]()
11 games too late

didn't they also say that several location couldn't be reached until you upgraded the car/airship like 7 times?
GameFaqs. Apparently the demo in E3 has the option. I'm looking to see if it's true or not though.

It is quite literally a flying car and they make no bones about it. I mean look at it, it's a car and it sprouts wings to fly. FF has never taken itself entirely seriously.
I don't know what I'm supposed to be looking at.

Thanks for pointing that out. I watched the trailer a few times, and was confused as to where you got the information from.
It must be cool living in Venice; maybe you'll see Noctis and co. at a nearby cafe.![]()
Very happy to see how this is shaping up, it'll be a GOTY contender if the console performance is ironed out by launch. The content looks like a real return to form for the series -- just keep it at 30fps!
Also, can anyone at E3 confirm if the console demos play like the footage we've been seeing? lol
