Yeah well not all of us can afford to get every new top of the line phone and tablet that comes out. All of my phones including my current android have had proprietary cords.
As for the format itself, it seems really awful in terms of handling physical forces. A standard weight cord with a chunky end for such a tiny connector. Seems almost intentionally designed to turn the connector into a prybar on the port, which seems to be happening. It can actually come loose by kicking to an angle while fully in the port.

So guys this is my first Steam summer sale and I have some questions. Are the deals sporadic or do they stay valid the whole week? Do games continue to lower in price as the week progresses or do I have to buy at the right time? Is Fallout New Vegas going to be on sale?

Deals are no longer sporadic, prices will (generally) not go lower or higher during the entire sale. Fallout games will very likely go on sale.
The deals will be constant - the same price throughout - except for some Ubisoft games, if the past Sale was anything to go by. Ubi had some special deals that ran for 24/48 hours. But everything has a timer on it, so if you're unsure, just check the store page - something along the lines of "Offer Ends In..."
And almost certainly Fallout: NV will be on Sale - probably 75% off.

No, I just reported it under "other" or "legal violation". I report basically anything that even tangentially breaks one of the rules. Worst case scenario they ignore the report, best case scenario one less piece of junk on Steam.

Ok this will be interesting, I gave myself a 17 euro budget for the summersale. Thinking Shadowrun HongKong will match GOG and have a 66% sale, and then I will have 10 euros left for either one or two games and for those I have hard time finding something I want to play right now.

Yes, it's Dual Shockers. We blocked it after they posted a blatantly fake Sony E3 leak a few years back and then we repeatedly told the operator of the site that they'd be blocked if it did not end up being substantially correct and then they repeatedly said it would end up being substantially correct and then it wasn't so we blocked it. No issue with going to the site for screenshots or whatever, the point of the block was to prevent bad rumours from spreading.

Saints Row IV was crap and Gat out of Hell was even worse. The last thing I want to see is Saints Assassins, with missions that include teabagging the Pope.

Speaking of copyright, i always wonder if Strategy First is actually paying Ford a license for the Ford Racing games. Knowing SF, I wouldnt be surprised if they weren't.

Well, I mean, with the way SRIV ended, SRV really needs to be 'Saints in Time'.

Every image is a 3/4's shot of a boat. It had me confused as to what it actually was, so I was forced to actually read the description. It sounds... kind of cool. Not at all for me, though.
I'm glad people like sandbox games and I'm glad they exist, but I can't do them at all.

Well hey, I seem to recall some bigwig at one of those companies saying that SR had gotten too outlandish and that they should rectify that going forward, when that's the main thing that has come to give the series its own identity instead of just being another GTA clone.
