Does choosing "not interested" on games in the discovery queue affect other games in the series, or future recommendations?

For example, I own AC: Unity on XB1, so could I choose Not Interested to just not see that game any more, or would it stop recommending any other and future AC titles as well?

just that game

First Steam sale where I have really been paying attention.

I assume that the "daily deals" are the deals at the top of the page?

Are FFX or FFXIII likely to receive more than the 50% discount they currently have?

Surely you meant excellent games that will give you tons of hours of enjoyment, best things i purchased last year along with mgsv and ive been playing ever since.

But then again, i'm a hipster.

Wait, what? Witcher 3 lacklustre?? How?

You'll find the answer if you use your witcher senses and follow the red trail.

I'm gonna get Witcher 3.

I also want Rise of the Tomb Raider and Doom. Might go for Doom. But I don't know if I ant to get more, time is a limited resource.

Daily deals are dead and buried. What you see is what you get.

Yes, daily deals are on top and most likely no, for FFX & FXIII

I'm having a lot of trouble buying games, like the screen sorta freezes on the payment screen and it stops at "working..." until it times out. Is that normal steam sale behavior?

Fable Anniversary $5.24
Assassins Creed Rogue - 21.99
Dead Rising 3 - 14.99
Stardew Valley - 11.99
This War of Mine - 4.99
Witcher III - 24.99
Total: $84.19

Still unsure if I want to get Rogue or not, and best buy is having a sale on gamecards right?

This culture in the normal Steam thread has actually become very toxic and insular.

I was looking up a review someone wrote back in one of the old 2014 threads and it's how much it has changed.

I haven't been that active so thats unfortunate to hear, but I know I'll always have love for all of my buds at Gaf, junior through tagged alike ♥

Coop works really well. Hardest part is having someone available for the billion hours that game can consume. If you have someone in the house who's interested then definitely go for it. Some of the best turn based gameplay in an RPG in a long time.

Awesome, I'll definitely be trying it out. Thanks bud.

To each his own but that feels like a weak reason. I mean, if you don't like that sort of gameplay I get it but they're such short sequences it doesn't seem like it should be that big of a deal.

Why is it that Mad Max has no discount at all?

That's surprising.

It was just recently in a Humble Bundle monthly so I was able to snag some from Gaffers for myself and family for like $5 each. Maybe check the B/S/T thread and see if anybody still has some copies?

Is firewatch worth $14? How long is the game, and is there replay value?

You can rush it in ~3, maybe 4-5 if you like to go slow and poke around a lot. No real replay value other than dialogue decisions. Personally I was very happy with it for even $20 because it was a great game, but everyone values things differently.

Off topic: I never actually checked, but could you complete quests without turning on witcher senses and exploring/ following the blood trail or whatever you were following? The stuff you were following was clearly there, it's not like it suddenly appeared when witcher senses turned on.

OT: Really not feeling the sale. I was hoping for bigger sales for stuff like Stardew and Hyper Light Drifter, and now I can't seem to find great prices on anything I don't have...

TI pls those are entirely too highly priced.

Sometimes you're following the scent of something, that doesn't show up in world.
