Immediately thought about you when I saw the new stage, obviously ; )Ahem...
Apologies for quoting myself but this is definitely the closest I have ever come to "calling" something, even if it is in the form of wishing for it
After the Air Force Base I had a feeling that Balrog's stage might be next. Sagat, if he ever becomes DLC, might follow the same trend of coming with a remake of the Thailand stage. For some reason those three seem appropriate due to them being both iconic and unique.
As some of you have pointed out as well, this second remake stage does continue the trend of looking a bit more basic than the new stages though, especially in terms of interactables / moving objects - of which there appear to be none.
As for the trailer itself:
- Balrog looks very awesome - I might try him for the first time actually.
- Juri looks awesome as well though I REALLY hope she'll get her IV outfit as well as wider pants do really complement her fighting style I feel.
- Urien I'm a bit mixed on in terms of his face and the fact that he now wears a suit. Maybe he'll grow on me though.
I agree it looks "simpler", like the airforce base one, but I think it looks great. And I'm all for a remake of Sagat's stage.
Maybe. I figure since we don't really know what's going on exactly with him we might as well wait and see before we start complaining.

Eh faster super animations are better imho
While some supers in sf5 look dull they are at least fast animations for the most part
Agreed, long supers feel like it loses pacing of the fight hence why I hate x ray in mkx.

I can watch this forever.
I'm not sure if we got to see the full CA animation since the first hit KO'd Bison. I'm inclined to think that is the full animation if only because you'd think they would put it in the trailer, but who knows.
Wouldn't be bothered either way though, not everyone needs a flashy super. He's just tryin' to get paid out there.

Juri wasn't expected to be July. Balrog was. It seems like they are at least somewhat ahead with characters, since Urien and Juri are in a somewhat playable state at the moment for Story Mode. BUT there's still stuff like Extra Mode (or whatever it's called) and Daily Challenges which are nowhere in sight.

I want his V-Trigger to be a combo "burst" type of effect that looks like this and is a cosmetic change for the rest of the round, or a slight buff to certain attributes.

That is exactly what I've said.
They are merging Ibuki (May), Story Mode (June) and Balrog (July) in one update.
No reason the next one shouldn't be in August, as it was scheduled.
I was reacting to people wishing we would see Juri in July and that that would put them ahead of schedule. ^^

I like the classic throwback stage, but it looks like it's got an instagram filter over it. Great colour palette but off with the tone, this is one washed-out Vegas! It looks unfinished tbh, very flat and empty.

Well, they did away with the roadmap because they were pissed at Capcom USA, so there is no schedule, anymore.
Personally, I'd just like the Daily Challenges and Fighter Profile to be fixed.
New generation doesn't mean that a all-new SF is coming out, it'll just also move to PS5, no big deal.
Why werent the smash characters dlc legal last evo then?

Unacceptable. That's one of the costumes I would probably bend over for.
I do think it's weird they covered Juri's chest with latex, given her SSF4 costume and all the other boobs in the game. BUT. I think it looks cooler.

It could be like Vega's mask: when you expose Balrog's fucked up hairline he gets super embarrassed and his defense goes down. But he also gets super pissed, so his specials do more damage, but you can't control which move he throws out.

Balrog coming on Friday is amazing. I really didn't want to wait a whole more month for him, so I'm glad he's coming out with the story mode update. His stage looks great.
Sucks that the story mode update is now in July, but it's only been delayed by one day, and we're getting two characters when the story mode update was originally going to have none, so I'm fine with a slight delay.

Because when a Super's startup kills you, the animation is cancelled.
This was not the full Balrog super animation, I would almost bet for that.
