Even DLCs are all not compatible across regions as far as I know.

Technically, Ken is "East", too. He's 3/4 Japanese, even though he now lives in the U.S.
I agree, Oro being in this game (along with his hidden arm V-Trigger) will make me a very happy man. Throwing Q, Makoto and Sean in there with him too will be perfect.

That's like saying that Ultra Street Fighter IV is better than Street Fighter V or how Mortal Kombat Trilogy is better than either Mortal Kombat II or Ulrimate Mortal Kombat 3 are because of the big roster of characters.
Tekken happens to be the #1 fighting game in sales worldwide while Street Fighter is #2.
Popularity and quality are not the same thing.

I can't get it to work, but it could be my own fault. Readme isn't useful to amateurs.
EDIT: x360 seems to work fine with my ps3 stick.

Has it never occured to you that the casual audience might find a larger roster and more robust single player content more appealing than tournament viability? I mean, you're posting in a thread about SFV, a game that is currently suffering backlash for seemingly ignoring casuals in favor of catering to the tourney scene.
I'd like Maki but only if she looks like the CvS2 Capcom side artwork. Maki the squatting biker gang leader is cooler than cheerful young ninja girl Maki.

Sagat as well together with a remade Thailand stage, the Dubai stage found n Rashid's art to house Azam as well, and perhaps some winter (Christmas) themed one to complement Ed and contrast with the summer beach one.

That depends on if he survives Tekken 7 (though to be honest, if it's between him & Kazuya, I'd bet on Heihachi surviving). Either way, I'd honestly go with Jin as the Tekken guest.

That said, didn't Ono try to fool us earlier with a similar double take, i.e. by letting us think it's not the obvious choice but then actually giving us that obvious character? I remember that attempt being thwarted by a leak but can't remember which character it was (maybe Dhalsim or Zangief?).

Why on earth do Franchise sales of past games matter? SF didn't have a title for nearly a decade.
By that logic if you look into Revenue generated. SF2 Arcade revenue alone obliterates many other franchises , including its own console franchise sales.

Close to $4bn in Todays money is what GTAV would make after selling over 50m units. Neither Tekken nor SF are making anywhere close to that at arcades in Japan. They arent even top in their own Fighting genre.
Also SF characters are way more recognizable than Tekken.
Ryu would stand up there with Mario,Sonic,Pacman as recognizable gaming icons. Kauzya or Jin? Not so much.
Guy needs to be in this fkin game , his gameplay style and mobility is so unique. Cant find anybody else who fits that
Maki not so much , unless they give her some of Guy's moves and playstyle. Played her in CvS and Alpha3 PSP , seemed a little more sluggish.

How does that disprove the fact that Tekken's sold more copies than SF worldwide on consoles? Everybody knows how much revenue SF2 was giving Capcom in arcades during it's heyday but still Tekken's still the most successful fighting game in console history. Nobody cares if "SF was dead for nearly a decade" as that's an excuse. Let alone, you can't say "well that doesn't count look at it this way because arcade revenue". Point still stands that Tekken's sold the most in console history.
If people wanna know how T7 is doing in arcades on the other hand, T7's the highest generated revenue Tekken in history (surpassed the previous holder T6 pretty early) and it's also the #1 Tekken in arcades that have the higher player amount per person meaning it continues to surpass it's own arcade records over time and mind you this is even before T7FR came out.
You can debate about who's more recognizable but in actual copies sold? You can't compare them that way.

Are you serious? Because I remember people being serious about why Cammy and Ibuki had a "tax" in SFIV when they were ridic. Funnily enough the same people ignored that Akuma, Gen, Yun etc had lower health as well.
More options, more mixups, more mobile you're going to have less than 1000 health.
But whatever, lets give Cammy 1000 health, an overhead and call it a wrap in season 2 as every top 8 is filled with Cammy.

Hey, I'm actually with you on this and would rather have it be Sagat or another SF fighter actually.
I've never been the biggest fan of crossovers in general (save for very well fitting ones like Final Fight or even Rival Schools + SF) so for the most part I was simply posting my hunch for what that Ono Tiger pic could be teasing and not a wishlist or something.
