dang, so it really is only my rock band stuff that I have to worry about... damn. I wonder how idiotic that is--buying a whole system just for like beatles rock band and neir. hmm.

I exclusively use gift cards to buy everything. Not sure if there's equivalent deals in the US, but in the UK you can buy super cheap Xbox Live gift cards via a digital movie store called Wukai. They sell a movie + Xbox gift card for significantly less than the value of the Xbox credit by itself.

...I have so many digital copies of shit movies.

They used to think it was impossible on the X1 too. I think it could be done. They just don't want to invest in it.

Ah. Well, I guess don't do that anymore? Considering you know it doesn't work. Likely this is partially due to people buying up lots of old "points" cards. They had a cutoff for the balance transfer and I think it was years ago - they announced it very publicly. They probably legally had to because of currency exchange rates not being set in stone.

I'm just wondering - did they ever get rid of the cloud storage limit on Xbox 360? I have lots of saves I wouldn't mind transferring over in order to just get rid of my 360, but if it's still 500 megs there's no way I can do that.

(That and Mass Effect still can't read characters from the cloud IIRC)

Are all still on my list apart from the first party games from Microsoft. I never played blacklist or spec ops and I hear great things about both all the time. I will buy them and play them if they are available on Xbox one.

There is still a limit, but it's 2GB if your a gold subscriber. I have hundreds of games physical+digital for X360. I have uploaded all my saves to the cloud that I can and still have have about 1.4GB left in cloud storage.

It's 2GB now across 360/XB1.
 
Have there been any murmurings of Deadly Premonition being added? Swery seems to have a relationship with MS, at the very least.

I did my part and bought D4.

I can only speak for us Europeans.

But we can buy gift cards for less Euros what they are worth.

So shops are selling a 50 € gift card for lets say 42,50 € .... so we often buy those to save money and don´t use our CC directly.

Honestly this, rock band 3 has justified me having a 360 for years now. The custom scene is amazing and even if RB3 came to Xbox one it still wouldn't support customs, I own rock band 4 and still prefer 3 because of the songs that will never be available in 4.
 
With Crackdown 1 (disliked 2) being $5 on sale this week... I'm tempted to take the chance. It seems like it would be a reasonable assumption, but I also have to wonder if they're holding it until Crackdown 3 to get preorders by offering a free copy.
 
Ninja gaiden 2 will definitely be bc at some point. It was published by Microsoft. They will take their time I am sure though since that game has to run perfect or else it will be unplayable.

Crackdown was free with Gold awhile ago. I assume most people have it already.

I'll stick with using digital purchasability as a good indicator.

I don't know what factors led to Doom 3 BFG Edition being only available as a disc and why that hasn't changed with BC (despite the disc image being downloaded for BC play), but it is clearly the outlier.

Phil already said games will be made available for sale digitally if they weren't already with BC.

A game being available digitally or not doesn't mean anything..
 
Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey aren't available digitally either but they're apparently still something they want to do, so I'd say all 4 games mentioned above are possible.

On another note, how do you check the build of the emulator a particular game has?

In "My games & apps", highlight the game you want to check, and hold LB+RB and hit Back/Select/Two Squares/whatever that button is called now. The version number is in the title.

I remember this being an issue when Mass Effect 2 launched... or was it with 3?

Was there ever a workaround that didn't involve using the hard drive?

I don't think we can store X360 saves in the XOne harddrive. This could potentially be the issue holding back ME2 and ME3

Sorry if this was recently asked, but has anyone seen anything on the Sonic Adventure games? SA2 has been teased in their xbox ads but I haven't heard anything recent.
 
So ready for RDR my cloud save is waiting for me too, the last save was just after the main tutorial type stuff. So I can jump straight into the good stuff.
 
I got myself a copy few months ago. I knew it was coming, time to dust off the case and ride into the wilderness! Real happy with this!
