Oh really? Sorry, I didn't know anything had been confirmed. I know tabloids aren't to be trusted but they are also sometimes the first to leak news.

The source was MediaTakeout which apparently has broken news before. Dunno anything about them.

Not so fast. That can stir things up even further. We need to remember that the attack was after a peaceful manifestation and civilians were put in danger if not even wounded. We need to wait on more reliable official info. But BLM as a peaceful civil rights movement can't be associated with this.

My opinion: one may generally be relieved when someone dies, or feel justice. But celebrating ones death like it is joyful is just wrong.
Obviously I mean when its a death based on violence, murder.

What state did you reside? I've lived in Nigeria for over 20 years (in Lagos and Anambra) and not once have I heard of any one having their house looted each time there was a power outage (and power outages are a daily occurrence).

The life expectancy in Nigeria, even today, is in the early 50's.

That's straight bull! The average life expectancy of a Nigerian is more high than than, 70 and above. Nigeria is not as bad as most are lead to believe.

That's how terrorism works. It's the perceived looming threat that gets to people in spite of facts saying the area is rather safe. How do you think America was able to pass the Patriot Act and make all of those changes to Airline safety. Before 9/11, taking off your shoes to make sure you didn't have bombs in them would have been something people laughed at. But now it's the new norm.

Here is a helpful tip, just wait. There are Twitter accounts that literally just spam fake information to fuck with gullible people. The police will have a press conference. The information that can be shared, will be shared.

Even credible new sources are iffy for information when something like this happens. You just gotta be patient and wait for official confirmation. If you see something, look at when it was posted and what the source is. Are they verified? Do they just post bullshit?

Mayor says no info about the suspects will be revealed during the investigation. So we won't know anything about them for now.

Why glorify their cause or their names? Just let go unknown.
