Not a huge fan of Bob but I am happy people who do enjoy the character get to play him. Can't always get your favorite every time and keep the roster fresh.

Master Raven seems to share most of his mannerisms. What makes it not edgy? No sunglasses?

Years of practice. Speed and weight is his motto. Also he doesn't care about gravity and can pull off three roundhouse kicks in mid-air before landing.

BTW That isn't a new character, that's 100% Raven's movelist + some additions.

Even Josie is more of a new character despite being based completely off Bruce compared to Raven --> FemRaven.

Well, I mean, Japan's actually aware what the makeup of the fighting game audience looks like in 2016, which is why we're seeing even more diversity added to the line-ups in the first place.

Similarly, there's a reason we saw Middle-Eastern characters start appearing in the games.

As such, I'd be *really* surprised if they lightened her skin over time.

They've done that in the past too. Christie took over for Eddy and Panda shared space with Kuma. Although in those cases, the old characters weren't dumped from the game (though Eddy was heavily sidelined and pretty much a secret character until Tekken 6).

I'm hoping that--since the animations appear to be pretty much the same as Raven's old animations--they can include him as well. The more black characters, the better.
