One game is complete, has been patched several times and you want to use PC screenshots when the game you're comparing it to isn't even on PC nor is it finished or released. It was silly. The whole Witcher 3 vs XV stuff that pops up in these threads is also silly.

We've heard maybe 5-6 tracks? I'm really excited to hear the rest as a megafan of Shimomura.

The overall art direction of FFXV is a giant hit and miss to me. I love the creature design, the look of the towns, but I really don't like the fact that the party is stuck to black outfits, the fact that the setting is very messy with weird combination of realism and fantasy, and most of the world map feel environment are looking really flat and boring in terms of level design and artistically. When will developers learn that desert freaking sucks.

They stated more than just multiple times that A) the game and gameworld gets more fantastical towards the end and B) that they only showed us locations from the first half of the game so far. 50-60% of creatures, regions, towns and cities are still under wraps.

I too get annoyed by seeing the desert and Duscae over and over again, but I will thank them for that when playing the game and being completely surprised by cool new locations.

I've been looping the same two-three tracks for like 6 or 7 years like a maniac, then since TGS 2014 we had a bit more variety, and now i can't wait for the whole OST.

These days i'm listening to the Uncovered Trailer track pretty much everyday and when the "violins" parts kick in i can already feel the journey unfolding.

Man, i'm so hyped it's almost scary now lol

The deluxe edition should have been the game with the ost CD so I wouldn't be on the fence with what to do about missing out on the anime and the extra episode

I have nothing against the desert or Duscae. They are cool! But how long do we know these already? At least for a couple of years. Especially Duscae I already know like my backpocket (I hope they change it up a little in the final game).

FFXV's OST is crazy good so far. And the Deluxe Edition of FFXV should've came with everything except the Noctis figure. Ultimate Collector's Edition should've had everything and the Noctis figure.

Iirc the Ultimate Edition comes with a "special" soundtrack disc, i bet it's going to be just a selection of tracks by Shimomura, then the full OST will come later like pretty much every other FF, since those are usually 4 discs.

Then again they started making everyone more realistic looking. Noctis in the old CG looks different from now.

Iirc the Ultimate Edition comes with a "special" soundtrack disc, i bet it's going to be just a selection of tracks by Shimomura, then the full OST will come later like pretty much every other FF, since those are usually 4 discs.

The Ultimate Edition isn't even really ultimate... it's a ripoff. It's not a big deal but it's a definite ripoff. Something at that price should have EVERYTHING.

The UCE Soundtrack is a Blu-ray, while it might not be every track, there is a lot of space. The FF14 Blu-ray OSTs have 60+ tracks.
Also it will include titles from Kingsglaive and Brotherhood as well.

Noctis, Gladio, Ignis, and Iedolas have looked the same since 2011. Ardyn and Verstael look the same from 2013 as well.

Now that I can see his design clearly, Ravus looks a lot like Ignis with a lighter hair color, different hair style and thinner, differently colored eyes. The face structure is kind of similar.

Yeah, seeing as how hooded guy's face was obscured in the 2008 CG even when he took his hood off, I think that his design wasn't finalized.

I like Ravus a whole lot, but that may be my inner weeaboo rising up. The mechanical arm is especially excellent. The most important thing, though, is that he maintains the magical powers he showed way way back in the day.

I'd really like him to have abilities on par with Noctis', as seen here. Noctis doesn't seem to have a lot of foes that can reach his level of power without also being the size of skyscrapers, and Ravus' powers as depicted here just look awesome (whatever they do!)

Ravus design wasn't even intended to be representative of his actual appearence on the game in that scene, I think. He just wears a white robe with a hood, he was just shown to foreshadow that Noctis would have a rival with the same powers as him and Stella.

It's like that Tifa looking character in one of the earlier KH2 CGi teasers, the scene was likely just a concept for a grown up female character in KH, and the concept ended up being developed into Kairi, Naminé, Aqua or another character. I think this was another concept for Ravus before he got redesigned by Nomura.

Or maybe it was another character that got removed/fused with the Ravus concept from the original script.

If they removed his powers, I'll be really disappointed especially when you also weigh Stella's removal since she was in a similar position of having powers equal to Noctis. The magitek arm has some real potential, though, so if they deliver on that as some kind of weapon it could make up the difference. Still, if his arm is some badass weapon it's weird that he brings a rapier into the game.
