I finally found the Pure Boost R in the US. Finish Line has them listed under the wrong name. So hyped for them to arrive.

I ended up jumping on a pair from adidas.ca, after sleeping on them for maybe 2 weeks. My size (7) was the only size left in stock; here's hoping they fit
Oh damn, didn't think about that. Yeah I'm looking filtered by my size (14 up). I guess I assumed more common sizes would be comparable or even cheaper, but maybe it's the opposite because they're more sought after.

I like the red/silver 1 High...but so many OG/OG style models coming out that I'm just gonna have to stay sleeping. I just got the navy metallics, and the black yin-yangs are dope looking, and Black/Reds and Black Toes are coming out too...
This is true, but even just the colors aren't enough to temp me. The yin yang 1's are dropped this weekend, then the bred 1's soon also. Would rather wait for those. Also just recently bought the metallic navy 1's.
Maybe ya'll can help me. What's the sizing on the AJ1's like compared to other Nikes? I wear a size 7 in Air Force 1's, but a 7.5 in the (non-SB) Dunk His I just got.
Pretty much the biggest reason why I've been sleeping on copping some of the cheaper styles off eBay is because I don't wanna get stuck with a size that doesn't fit. Was looking at the metallic navy's again just now.

IMO 1's generally run true to size
Don't wanna steer you wrong, but based on that I would probably go with a 7 for 1's. I've always found dunks to fit slightly tighter than my AJ 1's.

I would stick with 7. The new mold runs slightly bigger compared to the older models and AF1s and SBs already run big.

Mine are still factory laced lol. Honestly have no idea why they included shoe strings.
Pretty much. I don't think I've ever had to re-tie them.
Speaking of ultra boosts...got the green uncaged ones in today and...they feel great. Now I want the other two colorways in stock on Adidas and other sites smh. Too many shoes I want right now.

Holy shit I thought i was the only one doing this. I think the last time I tied my ub laces was when i replaced the orange with black yeezy flat lace. Probably 2 months ago. Then I tucked the lace underneath the cage. It was uncomfortable the first few times but then it just fell into right place on top of my foot and got flattened even more after more days of wearing it.
I swapped the laces between my red and black UB uncaged. I cut the red laces so the ends just barely stick out. I don't know a thing about sewing but I'm going to attempt to stitch the ends to the insides of the shoes.
These showed up yesterday. Tried them on but haven't worn them outside yet.

Nike Free 4.0 Flyknit. I have a handful of these. I keep them laced and it has a sock-like liner so it's even easier to slip on than Ultra Boosts.

Thats disgusting. I slip on all all my shoes and rarely have to untie them but that image is just gross sir. There are fashionable children here.
Always socks. Iv seen these weirdo freeballers trotting around some places but I dont agree with that shit. Feet will just ruin the shoe. Stank it up and everything.

I keep mine tied but slip them on. The laces are the same (3M rope laces from RLS) though the light is hitting the pair on the right.
Eh. Some people don't, but I've never been a fan. Feels really weird and if you sweat at all could make your shoes smell.
Even on something like that I'll still wear no-show socks.
