Her audience may react negatively, but I also think that the picture is different in its context compared to Lawrence's pictures.
I don't think Katy is really doing anything that can be seen as "wrong" or "slutty" (which I don't think Jennifer Lawrence was being either of those when she took her pictures) by her fanbase.
I believe that they'll be more fixated on Orlando Bloom's nudity then on Katy herself. I guess Katy's image will be tarnished a little, but it's not like she had such a "good girl" image already (unlike Lawrence at the time, IIRC.)
I could definitely be wrong, though. Many people (boys and grown men) in fanbases like the idea of seeing celebrity women as "pure". In a way, it makes them more attainable and submissive in their eyes.
I felt like the backlash Lawrence got when the pictures leaked were from these creeps.
