I can instantly tell the difference between 30 and 60.

It's like day and night. I will post here as soon as I get the game and say what I think it is.

Ugh, my Amazon LE is still listed as Shipping Soon. it's been that way since Friday. Getting a bit worried now.

It's a bit irritating that the patch went up Day -1 instead of Day 1, so digital purchasers basically get the game a full day early. To be clear I'm not being salty, I'm happy for everyone that can play it early, but it's really frustrating that the release date for digital is effectively the 8th instead of the 9th. If I'd known that I probably would've bought digital, especially now that the Day 1 patch takes away the physical advantage by making the physical disc a pre-release build. :/

Yet it said it was going ship Friday last week.

May be due to being very close to a distribution center. So Amazon uses their own couriers sometimes (just learned this today with that). It may go out tomorrow and arrive tomorrow, or picked up later today by said people after their current route.

Found this water paradise planet with HUGE mountains of gold, i never saw gold pre 1.03 so not sure if i should stay here and farm the shit outa this place lol. Wish we could build bases already.

pure gold? I've never seen that before either. Usually heridium is gold looking.

Wasn't Destiny 30 but looked like 60 due to some tech? Could be something like that.

If you have a phone that can record 60fps, just point it at your TV and you'll get an answer. Too many people thinking it's either 30 or 60 to be useful.

The human eye cant perceive the difference bewteen 30 and 60fps at less than 50 inches.

Doesn't seem like it.

Maybe that will be something that is updated in the future. I'm not sure if increasing the FOV would screw up with with the world generating around you.

There's been no screenshots of PC version at all. We have no idea what that version is like, other than having support for 21:9 monitors.

Everything I've seen looks solid. Gamespot stream guy said he's seen no frame hitching. Whether that's a solid 30 or a solid 60 remains a big debate.

So we got the game's producer and a journalist saying it's 60 so far.

Their is no option for changing the FOV. I tought it was too small but eventually got used to it.

Lots of pop-ins when walking. Kind of distracting when some small animal appears out of thin air in front of you.

I think each alien race has a base ship blueprint or something, if you pay attention you can eventually kind of tell where a ship comes from by looking at it

So in the area I spawned in at, I had gold filled meteorites I encountered while flying in space. Never found one on any planet I visited.
