Shame I wasn't here when this thread was first started. I definitely heard of flushing a toilet to clean a disc and I have tried it.

No idea how but (assuming your toilet is clean) it can actually help. Pretty sure I fixed one of my chrono cross discs like this as a kid. I remember reading about it online and said fuck it before i knew about resurfacing
