WWE Raw drops to lowest TV rating in 18 years

So that first Raw after draft was an anomaly

Go figure.
Such horrible setups which were seen a mile away really pissed me off

That Lana cake thing you knew the cake was getting on her some way
That fake ass bump

Then that Charlotte slap or hesitating for 5 seconds on live TV and still going through with it

If the show isn't horrid enough with botches, they went back to the same formula of makin Raw go from a 3 hour show that was manageable to watch to a 15 minute fast forward on my DVR

Guessing, Raw after Mania, Raw after Draft, and maybe the one following Summer Slam will be the only 3 Raws you want to watch Live! for 3 hours

They weren't beating Phelps and his death stare.

That's the saddest thing. Last night's olympics was a lousy night. A stare was about all there was to talk about. Phelps didn't even have a final, just a semi-final.

But Raw deserved the rating. It was abysmal.

This week wasn't much of a recovery

Roman Reigns - The Draw
8pm - 2.879 M
9 pm - 3.083 M
10 pm - 2.784 M

It was one of the worst RAW's I can remember.

The words Demon King make me want to vomit, not Finn himself, just the constant throwing that title at me. *Shudders*

I've cooled on Brock, I really don't care about him at all anymore.

Mick Foley has not botched a segment hes been in yet, Jesus who made the decision to bring him back in his role.

Actually the entire show was really really bad. Top to bottom. I can't find one redeemable thing about tit,

Y2J and Owens interview was probably the highlight.

I know, I was joking ;)

Now both shows feel like the b show instead of just smackdown after the draft. Not entertaining at all.

100%.

I was against this, and I feel it was a huge mistake. Im already programmed to skip smackdown. I have missed th last two weeks, because I never watched it. Now when I watch RAW, its like a total B show.

RAW has been extremely boring again. They did that one amazing RAW and turned right back to the same lame shit.

At least Smackdown is trying different things on a week to week basis.

Just a reminder that the Raw after the draft was performed as written with very few changes to the booking or script.

All these other shows have been micro managed and rewritten and rewritten and rewritten and then changed at the last minute by a certain someone......

I'm looking for the Demon Kane. Have you seen or know where i can find the Demon Kane?

In theory, this allows them to push more guys on each show.

In practice, both shows feel lesser, because they watered what little stars they had.

And they have zero regular stars right now, even 5 years ago, Cena was near his peak and Raw could do a 3.0 during any competition and 3.5 average during WM season.

RAW 2011 avg: 3.21
RAW 2012 avg: 3.0
RAW 2013 avg: 3.01
RAW 2014 avg: 2.95
RAW 2015 avg: 2.64
RAW 2016 avg: 2.4

And 2016 has the usual high period inflating its numbers (WM season), they still have the next 4 and a half months to go where NFL is back.

I'm honestly stunned that that show is where they decided to put the Women's Championship on Sasha Banks. I convinced myself that it was going to happen at Summerslam at the earliest. Was there a change in plans?

Remember this?

I hear that there may be an injury involved, and Sasha has been taken off the live schedule for the next month... but fuck this company.

People were excited for the Demon King as champion, not so much for the rise of the Roman Empire... again

8pm - 3.462 M
9pm - 3.370 M
10pm - 3.113M

I'm mad about her losing the title too but honestly I think she needs some time off and a talking to about her reckless ring work. It's fun for us to watch but she looks like she's killing herself half the time. That can't be good for her as close as 1 year down the line even

Raw wasn't complete garbage last night, but I should've turned it off after Bayley's debut. Hope WWE isn't dumb enough to put the belt on Roman again just before NFL season starts up or they'll be flirting with sub-2 ratings.

Last night's live WWE SmackDown, featuring the fallout from SummerSlam and the reveal of the new SmackDown Women's Title and SmackDown Tag Team Titles, drew 2.714 million viewers. This is up 12% from last week's show, which drew 2.471 million viewers and faced competition from the Olympics.

SmackDown was #3 for the night in viewership, behind The Have & Have Nots and The O'Reilly Factor, and #1 in the 18-49 demographic

It was a good week for WWE ratings-wise as Smackdown pulled in 2,835,000 viewers yesterday, the highest since the July 19 Draft episode. Taking that special episode out, it’s the highest of the year so far on USA Network. It was the top rated show on cable in the 18-49 demographic and second overall in terms of viewership. Raw actually had a great show this Monday but overall Smackdown has been the better product. It started slow but has been building momentum whereas Raw went out gangbusters in the opener then stalled until after Summerslam.
