I noticed that different command attacks take up different amounts of the command bar. Cor's command attack takes up all 3 bars while all the other characters' only take up 1. Since we know and have seen characters use different command attacks, I'm interested (and excited) to see what the 3-bar attacks from our main characters are.

Nah, I'm 21 and I have way more hair on my face and head than old Noctis has. I'd say at most he'd be 30.
What really interests me is that the party members wear Kingsglaive outfits (correct me if I'm wrong here) and Noct is wearing the King's attire. Not only that, but the fight is happening OUTSIDE of the citadel, not inside it. Isn't it weird for a throne to be outside the throne-room?
BTW Looking at the Chapter 0 footage, is there really evidence
of a time skip? Prompto looks, acts, and sounds exactly the same as his 'younger' self and Ignis / Gladio do not look aged at all, besides Gladio's longer hair. We do know that using royal magic ages the kings of Lucis so...

Yea besides the party looking slightly different, we don't really know and are only assuming cause of the leak. Honestly Noctis looks older than all of them so maybe it's like a 2 year time skip.

I didn't pick up on the attire but yeah it sure did seem to be outside of the citadel. The throne being there was pretty out of place unless there's something we're not being told yet like the throne itself holds a power of some sort.
Not only that, if you look closely at (ifrit? Chaos?) 's textures, you'll see that he is stuck on the throne. Like his left forearm is threaded into the arm of the chair. I may be wrong though.
(also, he summons some kind of sword before the next fire-wave happens. Seems to be his telegraph to the attack or something. Actually, on that note, has Ifirit ever had swords?)

Why is the general IQ of this game so crap? I just can't explain it, sometimes it makes me think of an early-gen PS3 game with the blurriness, the graininess, the poor quality and low resolution textures, and the flat lighitng and shading. The framerate still seems to hitch a lot, with a lot of judder anytime we see left and right camera pans. It's still not anywhere near consistently 30 fps from what I can see.
The voice acting is quite hit-and-miss. The main 4 seem okay I guess, though Prompto sounds like an idiot. But what the hell is with Cindy's Texas accent? Someone needs to tell Square-Enix that no one in North America thinks inserting Southern accents into JRPGs is clever or interesting. I can see myself using the JP voice acting instead of the EN just because Cindy is so grating.

Wow... can't believe I'm saying this... really miss Batman Noctis from Episode Duscae. I don't who was giving the voice actor for Noctis directions but uhhhhh.... He doesn't sound that good. Noctis also looks incredibly weird in different clothing. I also can't believe I'm saying it.

You mean LR? We worked on Hamauzu-san's music for that. I know Mizuta-san worked with Nashville Music Scoring, so there were mutliple different 'productions' involved with Hamauzu-san overseeing.
I always called Dusae's version stoner-Noct. I liked him.

Footage seems promising aside from the dub. Hopefully the image quality and framerate improve while the bugs get fixed before launch. The footage certainly leaves a better impression than what was shown at E3.

The more i watch the footage, the more i feel slightly more optimistic. This will never be Versus, but what's there is very solid, and the gameplay seems pretty interesting. They were skipping around to avoid spoilers and large backtracking, but it still felt like the pace was decent.
