Noctis' description says: "The playable hero of the adventure and crown prince of the Lucis kingdom. He can foresee people's deaths and wants to save his kingdom from attackers." (roughly translated)

I find it weird that Square Enix hasnt created a 3 minute epic trailer. Final Fantasy used to have amazing epic trailers. I am not feeling this game right now. The villain doesnt look as memorable as old Final Fantasy antagonists. Only the music is still great, and will probably be one of the best Final Fantasy soundtracks of all time.

It's a pretty hard task to create something that's epic and memorable without giving away the farm, when ppl been seeing bits and pieces of it for 10 years

Well, the game certainly had great trailers until Nomura was dropped.

I've said this before, but even as a gaming enthusiast, I've had my attention captured by great game ads on TV. I imagine some really special trailers could be great for the game's presence.

Are you British by any chance? I often wonder if it's only us Brits who notice the bad fake accent. It's doubly annoying because Gideon Emery is American but NAILED Balthier's British accent in XII. He could play as the next Bond with a voice like that.

Ha, it's like actually-Australian-all-along Vanille all over again with Ignis, with the same amount of ear bleeding. Rachel Robinson did a really solid Australian accent with Fang, though, I was impressed.

When it first became known there was this huge outcry and Tabata acknowledged that changing Cidney to Cindy was a dumb descision. That was a long time ago, I was hoping that meant they'd change it back.

The Japanese cast really wins for me as a whole. Tatsuhisa Suzuki, Keiji Fujiwara, Yuuichi Nakamura, Menta Miyake, etc etc. They really did great on the casting here.

Love the menu music. Loving that blue. I miss that blue.

Liking the characters, but I've always liked FFXV's cast.

Combat looks a bit smoother in this video but it could be my imagination.

Game seems to have a decent amount of customization, which I'm really liking.

The game is open-world but the locations feel like they have a reason for existing in the world and aren't just there for flavor or fluff, unlike most modern open world games.

I really liked what I watched and this is how SE should have been marketing FFXV from the get go. This should have been what they showed at E3.

I am on the opposite end of the spectrum and really liked the laid back travel/bromance beginning. Felt kind of relaxing in a way while they bring you into the conflict. Thought VA was much better then XIII and the car issue is a non-issue in a FF RPG (for me at least).

Now, I didn't pre-order the CE but have the regular steelbook pre-order and not cancelling.

Edit: Oh yeah, and I am surprisingly liking Noctis and crew after the previews/videos. Didn't expect that. Again, better than anything in XIII and possibly even X (was not a fan of MC or Wacca).
