The hair and some of the textures of trees and background look awful, but fuck it it's not so bad I'll wait for a proper pc version. Plus I can always double dip.
That's assuming pc version does take like a year or two to release. If it's a few months I can hold on.
Edit: remind me, can we switch to Japanese dub with subs? The English va isn't by any means horrible but some of the voiced are bothering me and seem like they'd work better with Japanese.

Thats pretty much my mind on it too. I'm gonna be waiting for a Neo, so if they announce a pc version before the Neo comes out, i may just wait for the pc version
I'd say don't count on it.

Let's hope the bother to do something competent on the Neo. That's why I rather they work their asses off for the base version and then worry about Neo.

agreed, but my ps4 broke and i see no reason to buy another one prior to a neo :/
Personally, I'm playing first on PS4 and then my second playthrough will be on Neo. I wanna see them upgrades.

any confirmation on dual audio for english version or is it english only with possible japanese dub dlc?
Dual audio is in.
Dual audio for all regions, now for which dubs you get may depend on region
Germany gets 4 (E,J,G,F)
Latin America gets three (E,J, L)
Canada will most likely have (F,E,J)
US I think only has english and japanesse

I'd be surprised if Canada gets a different copy than US. That's rarely the case.

All I needed was the japanese option with subs.
These english VAs really tried hard, but it's one of those things where some of them just sound awful or awkward in the context of the game haha.

If you're referring to me, it's a combination of 'did someone really just do that' plus 'what have I done' (since I was posting his various expressions earlier, those of which I actually do find funny) Meta humor, if you will.
It's basically in an area where had I been shown in private first, my response would have been "No, don't post that". But it's posted. And now we all suffer.
But now, like all shades of funny, it loses a bit of pizzazz by being explained.

There's also Dissidia music. you can buy cd's for the car.
I hope you don't expect all of that to be "OST" OST. As in, the actual album, not in-game use. T'would be kinda silly to have a whole bunch of tracks from previous games (all of which have existing OSTs) inflating disc count.
Nah, I know its not the OST and there more new tracks.
But maybe the FFCD of 9 I have is screwing me up since i swear there FF7 and 8 music in it.

At the same time it's refreshing seeing a company actually come out and say "see? this is what the game will be like if we released it right now. See why we need to delay it?"
It's not an official -demo-, this is supposed to be the "final" build that they were happy enough with to ship into stores on Sept 30. Lol.

Are the game graphics downgraded compared to the demos? Any comparisons between demos and the current build? Not the CG
With the way they were talking about all of the technical aspects of the game at E3 I definitely thought it would look much better than it does. I still don't understand what changed from Duscae to make the image quality fall to the levels it is currently at.

I guess I don't understand the humor portion. A lot of humor is just lost on me so I just felt left out on this gold gem.

I think we all were surprised about how far the clothing customization actually goes in FFXV, right? They had been very low-key about that. They made it sound like there were different outfits but probably not many and they were still all black and then there was that deal they had with Roen which seemed to be binding. Yet they ran around in some pretty diverse outfits, even customizable with jackets and caps and stuff... There will very likely be more and now I also believe there will be a good amount of costume DLC.
After the delay I can see them stretching their promotion out a little more. So, yes, now there will probably be a TGS trailer (which would have been the Gamescom trailer before) and then one final launch trailer in November (which would have been the TGS trailer before). Still holding out for that real Final Fantasy-like epic story trailer.
They said there was gonna be a massive day 1 patch though.

I mean, I'm not so worried now that they have two more months + whatever they were working on for the original day 1 patch... but still. Yikes.
Well there needs to be a massive one with the impressions Dawg and the other person from GAF playing it gave out.
Obviously, but the master version was the version those who don't have internet access would have played at launch, and from the impressions, it would have been a nightmare to play, due to gamebreaking technical issues.
Hence the delay.
Writing off a 40+ hour game because of a single character design you don't like? Yeah, baffles me too.
