Same here. The fact that it's 2016 and we still don't have a digital release of the soundtrack is pretty annoying.
I used Paypal checkout. Never made an account.
really 40$ is too much for some of you? jesus christ... i thought it was going to be a normal priced game at 60$ and i was fine with that... (Id STILL pay 60$ for this game) But 40$ for a physical copy is fucking awesome.
Is this actually a brand new game or just a souped up VR Rez?https://twitter.com/LimitedRunGames/status/766364761395175425
Basically confirms that the digital game will be $30 anyway to uh, capitalize on the PSVR launch.

Cause I'm pretty sure Rez XBLA was $10.
It's sort of both. It's a souped up Rez with a new area.
A new area for $20, huh. It's sort of both. It's a souped up Rez with a new area.

Okay, but that still doesn't make sense.
More expensive shipping is primarily just speed, the mailman isn't carrying the package individually on a pillow with a mint because it's Priority over Media.
And that doesn't excuse the horrible, slow, and uninsured comment.

I've literally said "I would pay $20 for another level of REZ"
putting my money where my mouth is right here
for 75 bucks they should include a code for the digital version![]()
Classically, iam8bit has given people digital downloads for vinyls. I got a download link for Killer Cuts at the time of purchase. Not sure if I got one for Hyper Light Drifter.
What's so special about a Vinyl? Do people just want them for the sake of collecting? Or do they offer some sort significant increase in sound quality when compared to Audio CDs,Blu-Ray Discs,or any Digital Sound Format?

What would lead you to believe that the game would cost $60?
Definitely gonna pre-order the game. Wish the vinyl was a little cheaper.

For collecting vinyl are bigger than A4 so they have some area for big artworks. Same for the discs.
being a full game, being a VR game... why should it be less?
Because it's a remaster / remake of a 15 year old game?
Do you think every re-release should be $60? Man, the publishers would love you!

I must be missing something, but is there no option to make an account on their website? I wanna see the shipping costs, but I literally can't find how to make an account.
if theyre remade with new content... yes.
Well, you're definitely in the minority.
RE0 had some new content added with its re-release and Capcom charged $20. I cannot imagine it would have sold all that well at $60.
Pre-orders open tomorrow.
Why would that mean not being able to make an account? What if I want to buy something else from their store?

last of us
FFX
a couple games that were full price for remasters.
I'm not an audiophile, just a vinyl fan. Vinyl is just.. fun. There's something about the ritual of playing vinyl that forces you to connect to the music more, I think. As for audio quality, sure, there's the analog "warmth" that is commonly touted. Whether that's better or not is up to the viewer (listener?). Getting back into vinyl got me back into music.Any audiophile willing to share some knowledge?

I ask because for a few years now I keep seeing game companies include a Vinyl Disc in some of their limited physical releases with increasing frequency.
The Last of Us Remastered was $50
FFX HD included two games and retailed at $40.
Don't even get me started on fucking ticket bots man...boils the blood under my skin. It's kind of shitty how people are trying to put in orders ahead of the pre-order time. Why cheat people out of orders when/if they don't know how or don't want to cheat the system?
