Overwatch Sombra ARG - No one is ready for Sombra [Up2: New Model Leaks]

I know a lot of people might be new to Blizzard games given this is on consoles, but they introduce massive changes all the time during the middle of their competitive seasons.

Hearthstone and Heroes of the Storm change all the time. They don't care. That's not the primary audience.

or just make her available on PTR only.

As a console player this would be fucking stupid.

We know. But blizzard flat out said they didn't like releasing Ana in the middle of the season. So we're assuming they don't want to have a similar situation.

They could release the character mid season but not make her available in comp play. Only in QP.
I hope they do this. Those first 2 weeks post Ana were rough, everyone wanted to play her in comp and refused to change no matter how bad they were losing.

This shit is still going? haha wow.

Was this already showing or is this new?

!-- Parece que se están calentando un poco las cosas... tendré que pasar desapercibida mientras esto se finaliza. -->

It means," It seems like things are cooking ... I will have to stay unnoticed while this finishes up.

That's from earlier today, when it changed from 5% to 5.xxxx%

I can't be the only one sick and tired of all this Sombra hype? I've had to filter "Sombra" on Reddit just so I can read the sub without every other post being some nonsense regarding it. Plus the game will be a mess for like a month after she's released, everyone will be wanting to play her no matter what.

That's another reason why releasing during S2 exclusively in QP would be a good idea. Play competitive for varied team composition, play in QP to try out the new character.

Once S3 comes around, people will be over the initial hype and use Sombra when she's needed, and not just for the sake of it. (generally speaking)

New heroes shouldn't be usable in competitive for a couple of weeks IMO. People shouldn't be playing heroes they're not intimate with in ranked. I lost a lot of ranks thanks to first time Ana's.

It makes me sad.

Blizzard had so much hype from this ARG exspecially with the fake profile but now they are dragging it on way to long. Number one rule is never have a countdown last more then 24 hours. Just don't

I bet he tried to give a clue for the people in the arg's discord and got shoved out as all newcomers do... That community is so harsh I hate this ARG now -__-

Sounds like OW community in general outside of GAF. Very unfriendly and toxic. Too rare to meet cool and friendly players.

Also 100% true. Anytime it can happen really.

Since it's weekend i doubt we'll get any new info in the next few hours, probably some new info on monday.

"Here is this engaging, deep and complex ARG for our fans to solve! Just do it during office hours and Mon through Fri so we can keep adding content to it!" :b

If only they did this during sc2's stagnation.

I like how the upload progress stops on Saturday. This shit is definitely being manually updated and that one guy's job to do this is off work today.

I thought they'd be nice, but there is a huge gap between lurking on r/overwatch and actually talking to them -_-

Yeah, my experiences trying to play with random folks on the r/overwatch Discord... wow.

Mostly people who seemed to be in their teens. Lots of blame shifting after a match is lost as a pre-made.

So something I just noticed, my Overwatch folder is 7.50gb, but my PTR folder is 7.30gb.

sombra es aqui

if you add all the digits together you get the number 21 which is the number of years shaved off your lifespan due to sombra related stress god damn it FUCK

This is so fucking lame. lol

Even if it just goes to 23% (which I doubt) who thought this was a good idea?

"Hey, people are really invested in this ARG how about we put up a loading screen that moves agonizingly slow, giving everyone who is invested nothing new for weeks/months while they wait."

"Brilliant!"

i haven't been following this, but the amount of time they've spent hyping a single hero makes me question how much content we're actually going to be getting long-term.
