The windows store now supports pre-loads. It was added in the anniversary update.
Hopefully the game is up tomorrow then, or at least soon. Right now it's not even listed on the W10 store at all.
Same here, I've always had VIP with all of the Forza games (which offered it) but only bought the Car Pass discounted later for a couple of them.
This time, however, since I had ~$110 trade it I figured I'd just get the Ultimate Edition.

Yes, so it doesn't really matter where you buy it: Xbox.com, XB1 console, W10 store when it comes available, digital code from Amazon and so forth.

It's not really blowing it out of the water. The 960M is 1.4Tflop vs. 1.3 in the Xbox One but the CPU is way better then the Xbox One CPU. It's not standing a chance against Scorpio tho.

Oh well it's a laptop I would use for work so gaming on it is a bonus.
Thought the 960m would be a much better GPU compared to the One's but at the very least I should be getting around the same performances which is fine.
My mistake. Thought it was out next week.
Preload on Microsoft games are usually up very early as well as review embargos. FH2s embargo was up a week before the release.

Achievements dont sound as grindy as FH2 and that makes me happy. Seeing certain names (yarra valley etc) in achievement titles makes me smile as a fellow aussie

And the number of online achievements isn't too high either. Looks possible to achieve for the 3000 reward points.

TBH, as someone who primarily games on PC, but has nothing in the livingroom, it tipped me over the edge on buying a One S. Play in the livingroom for the screen and when the screen is already in use, just go jump on either the desktop or laptop.

I wonder for now on will every MS title will have ultimate editions and have early access for the game. SInce Forza and now Gears is doing it. Heck even NBA2k doing it as well. I think its a very smart move for more to do that.
FH3 Windows 10 wheel support story coming in the future. I hope it's not so far in the future that we have already left this planet and solar system!

They do but it's simplified so the handling is easier overall. But there are lots of settings to play with and if you turn all the assists etc off then the cars behave quite realistically. Just not quite the same as a Motorsport game.
If fun is important to you then I would highly recommend this game over F6.
Yes. I went all in this time. Was an E3 promo so I saved a bunch on it. But I think I'm getting a physical copy. Ordered it from the Microsoft store. Not sure how it's going to work out. Hopefully I get a code, I want to have this digital so I can try it out on my PC as well.
