Square's facial animation team really dropped the ball with this game, maybe it's because the rigs are more complicated but there's so many moments in the trailer where Noctis's mouth is moving but is in no way shape or form synced with what he's saying.

I KNEW I saw three of them. At least they ain't the motorcycle Transformer twins of FFXIII. Good old magical ice maidens with pointy ears!

Their design seems to be a mixture of the classic pre-FFVII Shivas(I guess you could also say FFIX's Shiva, which was heavily influenced by FFV's Shiva) and, given how their hair is up, some inspiration from the FFVII Shiva.
