Is it just more or have The Americans not really ever been up for nominations until now?

(Or do they just keep losing to GoT?)

Margo Martindale got nominated for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series every year since 2013 and she won last year. Other than that they got some writing and title sequence noms. This is there first big year.

How is Claire Danes nominated? Homeland hasn't been good in a minute.

The inexplicable power of the overacted cry face.

Tatiana Maslany or Keri Russell best win.

I'm here for my boy Courtney B Vance to win for best supporting actor for OJ

*reads Nomination list*

Really? He's not even nominated? What The Fuck Emmys

Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series or Movie

Bryan Cranston for All the Way
Benedict Cumberbatch for Sherlock: "The Abominable Bride"
Idris Elba for Luther
Cuba Gooding Jr. for The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story
Tom Hiddleston for The Night Manager
Courtney B. Vance for The People v. O. J. Simpson: American Crime Story

.

Probably GoT will win most of the awards, but I think Better Call Saul deserves the win. That said, I haven't watched The Americans, so I don't know how good that is.

I think OJ might sweep for Limited Series nominations because it was the best thing i've watched on Television not named Stranger Things this year.

Out of the dramas I have seen I would go with Better Call Saul.

Also Courtney B. Vance in everything he is nominated for.

None of the exciting awards have happened yet. When Game of Thrones wins stuff and some people get pissed is when the thread will pick up traction.

I'm happy for Louie Anderson, he deserves that
I expect lots of GOT haters to come in once they start winning.

Then when the next season starts they will in the GOT threads all hype and shit.
