It's fucking ridiculous lol.

Lose to a tough divisional opponent on the road 17-14. It's not the end of the fucking world

It is. I just think a lot of us had extremely high (probably ill-conceived) expectations. The score doesn't show how horrible we were though, I'm pretty sure more than half of our yards were on PI calls. Sucks, beaten by fucking Sam Bradford...

Team doesn't look good thus far after two games.

MVP caliber Rodgers has been missing since 2014.

We have a pillow soft schedule and that's the only saving grace so 8-8 is probably hyperbole. 10-6 is more realistic but with that schedule we should be 14-2 if we were playing like we did just two years ago.

Teams evolve throughout the season but we're all still waiting for this offense to find their old rhythm. Until then, they aren't going anywhere even if they do make the playoffs.

Remember when McCarthy decided to not play Rodgers at all during the preseason.

Remember when McCarthy ran a draw play on 4th and 1

The Packers offense has looked like shit in the first two games, their secondary couldn't stop a college team right now, Aaron Rodgers got out played by Sam Bradford, and people also need to remember that the Packers looked pretty pedestrian the second half of last season and pretty much backed into the playoffs.

Such a disappointing game.... If the offense looked decent I wouldn't be so down but man.

Also the secondary needs work, big time.

Ehhh, they only looked okay the first 3 or so games last year and Rodgers had to miracle them into the playoffs. They need some guys to step up.

lol at them bringing up in postgame Pats possibly making a trade for a qb for a two week bandaid...I would have signed up for 2-2 without Brady and that's already guaranteed.

If Packers don't make a deep playoff run, McCarthy should be dropped like John Fox.

I actually think this is a legitimate possibility. The larger sports media has been starting to rumble about whether or not the Packers are wasting Rodgers' prime and it seems like McCarthy's seat did get a little warmer this off season.

That motherfuckin seat should've been hotter than every Browns HC in the last 20 years after Seattle

After last season, his seat damn well better be hot

Lions are gonna always be my number one one team, no matter what. That team goes 0-16 again, I'll be rooting them all the way. They play the Vikings, Panthers, Packers, it don't matter who, I'm a Lions fan

Only thing I don't understand is how you don't resent the Vikings when they beat the Lions. As a Bears fan, I could never root for the Packers, Vikings, or Lions unless one of them were going to beat the other one which would be beneficial to the Bears like tonight but that's more of a "I want the team that I think is a bigger threat to my team to lose" more than anything else.

Packers aren't even going to make the Playoffs.

Fire McCarthy.

A few things will happen

1) Packers will sneak into the playoffs with not much momentum

2) Packers will eek out one playoff win and then have a competitive divisional game before getting bounced. Thus preserving McCarthy's tenure.

3) The Packers defense will step up in some meaningless games to preserve Capers.

Capers and McCarthy have tapped into that Jeff Fisher magic.

McCarthy's entire offense was based around having a deep threat. Jordy is no longer a deep threat (He looks like James Jones of last year, slow and useless)

Teams can just rush 4 while stacking the box. Our running plays develop way too slowly for it to surprise anyone, and our wideouts arent able to get passes downfield.

The best way too get around this is a nice I-Formation run up the middle, but McCarthy is too stupid with his running scheme

The Vikings have a good defense, but not that good. The Packers lost this game more then the Vikings won this. Our scheme got figured out by Denver in that you can get pressure rushing 3-4 players and just clog up the middle of the field and kill those slant passes.

Nobody is getting open, and Rodgers is trying to go for huge plays all the time. it's no longer the time to do that, our wideouts arent good enough, and our running backs are literally useless.

If Jordy was back to old Jordy, we'd be fine, but he's clearly lost a step. He looks like James Jones right now, which is absolutely pathetic.

I don't resent any team if they beat a team I support, I get angry depending on the circumstances, but nothing past that. I won't reach Cowboys/Lions levels ever again, let's put it like that
