I actually think we might have a Giants-Pats III rematch in SB.
Only this time Brady gets his revenge on the NFL and the Giants.

Solemn vow: I will not watch the next Owl* if it has the Patriots, Broncos, Steelers, or Ravens (yes, even my own team). Something new and not horrible/cheating pls

*like last year, half time doesn't count. Skipped the whole game because fuck Broncos but stood tall and proud for the Coldplay thing, and will do the same for the Gaga show. LGBT pride forever bitches <333333

Just the way the Pats are playing right now without Brady/Gronk makes me think they'll be back in the Super Bowl this year. They shouldn't be close to 2-0, yet they are 2-0.

Packers fans really crank it up to 11 when they lose. That was literally the worst offensive game they could have played and lost by 3. Still only week 2 and they played two road games. I think they have a bunch of home games now and they'll figure it out

Yeah, they have been impressive and they are only gonna get better they nearly outclassed the Dolphins, a team that has the talent to beat anyone on any given week. Pats embarrassed them till the injuries happened and they decided to take foot off the gas.

Only person that can stop the Pats is Joe Playoff Mode Flacco.

:)
To be honest the Texans are better than I expected you guys beat the Chiefs, that isn't a easy win by any stretch of the imagination.

There was a Hopkins catch that was not called a touchdown even though he had both knees in, plus I heard there was a play where that idiot Clowney actually made Eric Fisher look like a complete ass. I didn't like the two interceptions especially when Peters was all over the place.

January Joe is a scary human being

How long until people began to turn on Gurley as a "star"? Dude has like a 2.7 ypc right now and averaged like 60 yards a game after those first four where he blew everyone's minds last year.

The Niners backup RB Shane Draughn is nearly as good. Reason #632 why it's dumb to invest highly in RBs.

Didn't I read that the Viking's new stadium actually had unsafe levels of noise?

EDIT: Yeah https://gma.yahoo.com/record-noise-levels-expected-minnesota-vikings-stadium-205200997.html

Who gives a fuck about the 12th Man when you have

I forgot the Ravens were 2-0.

Worst 2-0 team ever.

I'm excited for Jacoby to get under center. I think the dude has a ton of talent. he needs to work a bit on his pocket awareness and learn to step up rather than roll out. That being said he has a cannon and throws it right on target. He was clearly handled with kid gloves today. He had 1 maybe 2 bad plays. The strip sack was awful on his part, gotta be more aware there. He also got sacked on the drive prior, but I can't put that all on him. Joe Thuney had back to back killer holding penalties to push them outta FG range. I'm hoping they spread it out when he gets in there.

So just found out Darrell Bevell is the second longest tenured offensive coordinator in the NFL, active since 2011 with the hawks.

Dammit, why can't one of you teams that go through HC every other year take him off our hands? Wish this front office would find a more creative guy and cut him loose.

I read they were looking to sign a vet with experience within Josh McDaniels his system, so that would probably mean former Patriots legend Matt Flynn or Ryan Lindley.

The Globe has an article on the current available free agents QBs.

- Matt Flynn (Former Pats backup)
- Ryan Lindley (Former Pats practice squad player and sideline celebration pro)
- T.J. Yates (Former Texans legend to face his old team?!)
- Jimmy Clausen (Omg pls no)
- Tarvaris Jackson (Apparently put a gun on his wife last year, great guy)
- Charlie Whitehearst (Clipboard Jesus would probably look good on the sideline)
- Sean Renfrew (No clue who the fuck this is, probably went to some no name college *waves at Grovo-San)
- Michael Vick (Say no to the dog killer)
- Matt Hasselbeck (Old but Gold)
- Ricky Stanzi (Again who the fuck is this)

If they bring one in it'll only be to back up JB. Out of that list I'd take Flynn or Hasselbeck though if we had. to. Everyone else is absolute trash.

Would rather they just play the rookie instead of any of these guys but they do have to pick someone up in case of another injury. Although, it would be fun to see edelman be the quarterback for a game. Really sucks that Jimmy went down today. Guy has been way better than I expected. This start of this season has been so much fun. Can't wait to see how this team develops going forward.

Yeah, I'd say throw Briskett out there as well and see how he does. He does face a sick D-line and he showed a lack of awareness against the Dolphins that will really hurt him when Watt, Clowney and Vince coming at him. But he would have a couple of days of prep with Josh for the game, so might as well give it a go. Being 2-1 after 3 weeks ain't bad with all this injuries. The real important game is against the Bills. Gotta keep that division record up, so hope Jimmy is back then.

I would like to agree, but the offense is what it is. They played exactly the same last year. There really isn't any logical reason to think, 'yep, they'll figure it out this week.'
The Chargers just absolutely worked a Jaguars team that gave the Packers a run for their money. It comes down to Rodgers, and he isn't playing well (and that's an understatement).

Secondary played a shit game, but overall the defense did a good job - gave the offense plenty of chances. Rodgers isn't making quick decisions and we waste runs with Lacy who has no burst.

I said it before week 1, I don't expect this team to do anything this year.

Now my baby is asleep and I can go back to bed.

Cut down gradually, go down to 2 cups of coffee a day, then 1 a day, etc. Get yourself down to some tea after that if you want to dial it back. Probably helps to have some painkillers in the mean time.

Yeah, I think that's the road I'll try to take.

Will probably just end up with a painkiller addiction then :D
