They got Apple on a couple of inside routes to the middle of the field which were tough to cover but Brees tested him with the deep ball a few times and got nothing. He's a rookie so I expect him to struggle a bit but considering the number of snaps he played (he played 59 of the 62 snaps in the game while DRC played 39), he's doing pretty damn well.

Even when Apple did allow a completion yesterday, he was in pretty good position and wrapped up very well to prevent further damage. Tackling as a whole has been pretty good this year, especially around the line of scrimmage.

Aaron Rodgers' streak of games without a 100-pass rating has reached 14, including playoffs. He finished at 70.7 in Sunday night's 17-14 loss at Minnesota. This from the quarterback who came into the season as the NFL's career passer rating leader at 104.1.

Yeah something is up.

If sex makes you worse at football, I'm sure most people would just take the millions of dollars, fuck super models and be slightly worse at football. Unless you're a weirdo like JJ Watt.

Also the Munn stuff is and always has been in bad taste and sexist. Sad!

What do you mean in bad taste? Its just a joke.

You are really going to judge a guy based off of preseason? Also who says he looked worse then those guys? What part of the game did he/they play, what defenses were they running then, what plays were their opponents playing then? There are like a million moving parts trying to judge anything off the preseason seems silly. For what ever reason the new regime didnt like Rowe so they shipped him off for next to nothing. It looks bad because the Eagles have almost no depth at CB, and he was a guy Chip brought in and Howie has moved so many Chip guys in such a short amount of time.

We had reports all training camp, offseason, and preseason that Rowe wasn't looking as good as he did last year. Jim Schwartz had a full offseason to evaluate him, and he ended up being basically practice squad fodder before being traded. If he couldn't shine in training camp, why should he see the field over those who did? And like I said, we don't have 'no depth' at CB, he was 6th on the depth chart. Sure, ahead of him are a bunch of rookies, but that's even worse. He's a 2nd round pick that, in the coaches eyes, got outplayed by UDFA. And Jim Schwartz is a hell of a better DC than Bill Davis, so I'll trust his judgement.

And stop saying he was a guy Chip brought in that Howie had to get rid of. Maxwell, Alonso, and Murray? Sure. But if the only reason Rowe is gone is because Chip brought him in, Why is Lane Johnson still on the team? What about Ertz, Jordan Matthews, Agholor, Jordan Hicks, Jaylen Watkins? Why are they still on the team if your theory of Howie getting rid of Chip guys is true? The reason they are is because they all are either talented football players, or they were showing potential this offseason, something Rowe wasn't doing in this scheme. If Howie wanted to flip Rowe, why did he wait so long? Why not try to flip him at the draft to get more picks then? Why spend some of training camp giving him 1st team and 2nd team reps if the intent was to ship him off? Use your head for once and stop acting like the best friend of someone who just got dumped, just spending all day shitting on the guy.

So Packers-GAF people on nfl reddit have been speculating on what is wrong with Aaron Rodgers ever since his 2014 injury.. Stuff regarding his poor footwork and his knee surgery and why he is reluctant to plant to throw.

I think I agree with the narrative that he's exhausted and frustrated. I believe there's tension between him and the coaching staff/front office.

Also possible that Rodgers doesn't trust his receivers enough to beat man coverage (since nobody is playing zone against us anymore).

That said, we'll probably never know the real reason unless this keeps up and ends up in a tragic ending. Even then we'll have to wait for the "30 for 30" special.

Hopefully they can get their act together somehow. Make adjustments, practice better....something!

Cursed pussy is a real phenomenom. It has also been proven that virginity can give you super powers. Scientists (from the 14th century) are in total agreement.

Speaking of being cursed I just found out that we have different toilet paper for the attorneys than for the staff. I thought the shit they put in my bathroom was cheap but apparently there is something worse than 1ply toilet paper. At least it was soft. The toilet in my bathroom had to be fixed so I went for my afternoon shit (a right fundamental to all workers) in one of the bathrooms for the staff. My poor butthole! After I cleaned up I felt the opposite of clean, I felt like I just bought protection for myself in prison. I actually made sure that the women who buys supplies stopped buying the sandpaper toilet paper for the staff and bought the regular shit for everyone. No one outside of New England deserves to live like this...

What a tough day. Did not have my own bathroom and had to use fucking medieval TP.

Apple has a little bit of Will Allen in him so far: physically capable of being step for step with a WR down the field, always in position to contest the catch point but lacking awareness to execute that last part. Encouraging so far that that's the only major issue through two games.

Last year was the one year that Chip had full control of the roster, how many of the guys that were brought in last year are still with the team?

Agholor, Ryan Mathews, and Hicks are still on the team. Are you arguing that we should've kept Murray, Alonso, and Maxwell? And after they got Wentz Bradford had an expiration date anyway, and so far it looks like that Vikings trade will work out for both teams. Also consider that keeping Murray, Alonso, and Maxwell, all of whom severely underperformed their contracts, would've made it extremely hard to sign Curry, Ertz, Johnson, Cox, and Jenkins. All of whom are better players than a bunch of FAs that were essentially brought in for one year and were mediocre at best. Because again, you are making the argument that we should've kept Murray, Alonso and Maxwell, solely because Chip brought them in. Chip made a series of terrible and ok moves in his one year of GM, and Howie cleaned up the mess.

Not eligible to return until Week 15 at the earliest.

Cowboys DE Randy Gregory withdrew appeal of his 10-game suspension for multiple violations of NFL's Substance Abuse policy and now will be suspended through week 14, league sources tell me and Todd Archer. Gregory is first eligible to return in week 15.

He misses this dapper gentleman.

Defense

James Bradberry, CB, Carolina Panthers (93.3)

Ironically, the only cornerback to outperform Josh Norman this week was the rookie tasked with filling his shoes in Carolina. Going up against the 49ers receivers will help, but Bradberry allowed just one catch on seven targets, and it went for only six yards. He notched a pick and a pass defensed, and when targeted yielded a passer rating of 0.0

" The cardinals and pats are exactly what our team needs"

Oh Rex.. Fire yourself

The Patriots without Brady, Garoppolo, Gronk, and Hightower is exactly what Rex needs. Rex will treat any win against the Patriots like he just won the Super Bowl, and it will keep him employed until like week 10 at least.

If Rex loses to that team though, he's fucked.

Is it just me or does that suit not fit him at all.

Looks like he's wearing his dad's suit, if his dad exclusively shopped at Macys/Filenes, using a time machine back to 1994.

With my Jags being....dead, I think its time for me to pick up a NFC team to root for alongside them that won't crush my soul.

The Vikings are the Unofficial team of NFL-GAF, jump on board the longship. AP is out so no worries about promoting scrotal thrashings, karma took care of him.

That of course makes Sammy B the Unofficial QB of NFL-GAF. What a redemption story!
