2016 NFL Season OT - Week Three - Dylan Once Wrote

Belichick is amazing. He won an NFL game with a QB who really struggles throwing the ball.

But that was mostly about the Texans being the same frauds they have always been. I get that Watt was hurt but no one on their defense made a play. Special teams have been a liability since the franchise's inception. Oswilier now has more INTs than TD drives this year and O'Brien was afraid to let him throw the ball yesterday. BoB is a terrible judge of QBs

Mass is the worst state, followed closely by Florida and Texas.

They don't call them Massholes for nothing. Not sure what it is about that state that requires so many people to yell all the time (mostly the uneducated rednecks that only speak Bostonian and not English...might be an Irish thing). Maybe they're angry because the food is awful and they have an inferiority complex with NYC.

And that south coast? Woof.

Maine/New Hampshire/Vermont are way better New England states. Portland, Maine would literally be my number one choice for places to live.

I think I am a fantasy jinx.

Did not play Coleman the first 2 weeks and he goes off. Put him in the lineup and he breaks his hand at practice.

Did not play ASJ the first 2 weeks and put him in the lineup and he gets arrested.

I also have
Russell
as my QB.

I love Portland Maine I saw Slayer there a few years ago. Such a fun time.

I do know some people who insist on yelling instead of speaking at a normal volume, so I cannot argue with this. MA is a weird place for weird boys.

Are you kidding he is a hero. Hopefully the obnoxious jerks who only show up after a win* will all go off into that thread and leave us alone.

You keep saying this, but who here is new?

I just joined not that long ago, so I couldn't have possibly even posted here during any other season, so your point can't apply to me unless you use the same failed logic Roger used for deflate gate.

Oh, and I plan on posting in both threads, Patriots love is too much for just one thread to contain!

I tried to post during the game last night but I just gave up and shut GAF because it seemed like we had several new/annoying people show up. But maybe it was just people that dont normally post during games but decided to last night.

Truth be told I was impressed by the architecture in Boston. But I was so shocked at the racism that I wasn't even mad. I was more like so surprised by it that I didn't even have a chance to be angry if that makes any sense. Some white folks said nigger to yell at black teens and kids playing outside in the most hateful yet casual way. My face for the rest of the day.

But Bill Simmons told me that racism died in Boston in the 90s once he grew up.

Also, I hope bad things happen to Bread. Hopefully involving a strap on. His lies deserve to be punished.

Last night to me highlighted how important the group culture/mentality is in this game. The Texans have the talent and coaching to not get shut out by any opponent. Even the worst teams in this league going up against the best defense in the league are expected to score at least 1 FG. The Texans offense didn't even make it past the 50 until some time in the third quarter. They just completely underperformed and there a few teams in this league who just wilt when it comes to playing a team like the Patriots in the national spotlight.

Props to Belichick and all the Pats coaches. They completely shut down what is shaping up to be the best pass rush in the league (Mercilus, Watt, Clowney) and their zone defense completely nullified Osweiler. He couldn't anticipate when people would come open. Belichick is the master.

Bill Simmons lied. I haven't been to Boston yet, sadly, as I'd like to go at least once. But I imagine Boston is basically a city full of the racist white trash that occupies South Philly.

Last time I was up there, I was just walking around in the middle of the day in a relatively crowded part of the city and someone that was walking past just dropped a hard N-bomb in the middle of their conversation. It was so completely casual, it took me a second to realize what had actually been said.

Milchjon needs to ban himself again.

;-;

The alternative would've been to rename this thread.

Soulmate!

We should do a GAFmeet in Portland.

In the end, Maine is the reason I'm a Pats fan.

milch needs to take a break

or eat some brisket

I am only having some fun and taking a load off this thread.

nope, haven't encountered any racism here at all. it's a wondrous place where all races coexist.

not gonna deny that i knew plenty of racists in boston, though. they just kept it to themselves in public.

My wife said to tell you that she wants us all to find a week day to take off and get drunk and play Gears all day once it comes out.

Late in his Colts career Peyton was taking dreadful Colts teams and winning 12+ games a year. I still don't get how people can debate him being the GOAT. They were a 3 win team w/o him
While having neck issues as well.
Finally decided to have surgery and lost feelings in his fingers, stuff that people will never remember.

Aaron Rodgers
First 116 gms: 8.22 YPA (3rd all time)
Last 14 gms: 5.95 YPA
Lowest in NFL history: 5.79 YPA (Joey H)

We're going to the bottom, fast.

It's hard to reconcile his declining production with those amazing plays he still can make. No one else can throw those hail mary throws he can. Or that TD throw against JAX while being pulled down. But then he makes an awful throw on that Waynes INT. Off target and lacking velocity

I know the whole "fire Mike McCarthy" thing is generally viewed as an overreaction but you have to think that he's on the hot seat after this season if this keeps up.

Something isn't working and sadly coaches are more replaceable than future HOF quarterbacks.
