I just got the alert from local news and I'm listening to police scanner now. Multiple "patients" confirmed so far, the police have yet to be able to enter the building.

TOWNVILLE, S.C. -
Officers are on the way to an Upstate elementary school after a report of a possible shooting.

Anderson County Sheriff's Office Lt. Sheila Cole confirmed that the shooting was reported at Townville Elementary School at 105 State Road in Townville in Anderson County.

WYFF News 4 has a crew on the way to the scene.

I don't know a link but the scanner is Anderson, SC public safety.

I really hope this is overblown. I have multiple family members and friends that attend and teach at this school.
 
They are saying to drag victim #1 to the helicopter and has a trauma score of "8". Mentioning others as well, including at least one teacher, but he will be the first one to be removed.

This is truly insane. I haven't heard from anyone I know yet either.

Just heard from my dad. My brother just passed by it and talked to a few folks on the scene. They are saying there is an "active" shooter right now and they can't locate them. One of my cousins goes there and has been in contact with her parents and told them they could hear the shots going off one after the other, "pow pow pow pow pow".

This is a very, very rural location, completely out in the country, right in the area where I grew up. The rescue squad is just a half mile down the road. This is the time when everyone should be getting out.

A huge fuck you to the Columbine assholes for opening this can of worms. Schools and kids became targets because of those piles of refuse.

As somebody whose home is not too far away from Sandy Hook, I really hope you don't have to go through the same thing. Please let this be ended fast before anyone dies.

I feel so bad for the parents that keep walking up on the live video, that has got to be the scariest thing.

Sandy Hook was the most soul-crushing act of violence in the US that I can remember, other than 9/11. I sincerely hope your county doesn't have to go through that.
