This obviously isn't a big deal in the grand scope of things, but Highway 24 is a pretty big deal in our area. It is one of the main connecting roads for many of the towns around here. I can't even imagine what the traffic is going to be like in these areas.

They just mentioned a specific class where they are looking for folks, shooter or victim I'm not sure which, and I know the teacher they mentioned. She teaches second grade.

The Anderson County Coroner's Office is headed to a reported death on Osborne Road in Townville that officials say is connected with the incident at the school. The location is a little more than 3 miles from school.

Greenville Online (USA Today affiliate) is reporting 3 kids injured and a man found dead near the scene.

At least three children have been injured in a shooting at Townville Elementary School in Anderson County, according to scanner traffic. EMS and LifeFlight are responding to the scene along with units from multiple law enforcement agencies.

A LifeFlight helicopter with at least one patient board was seen leaving the scene.

The coroner said that a man was dead near the school and the death is possibly related to the incident at the school, reporter Mike Ellis from the Independent Mail reported on Twitter. The second scene was on Osborne Road about a mile and a half from the school in Townville.
