Trump has nothing to do with The Apprentice, it's an NBC property that he was just employed for. NBC Separated ties from him a year or so ago after his Mexican rapist comments.

Considering Trump was himself fired from The Apprentice by NBC last year, I doubt he has any say.

That all makes sense. I just figured he personally had some stake in the show also and it wasn't wholly owned by NBC Universal.

Haha, indeed. Arnold lucked out somehow, because all of this stuff was made public during his campaign. He apologized too. That made his recent comments all the more surprising.

It's saying a lot about the GOP that even after seeing these remarks (I had never seen them before), if Arnold could actually run for President, I'd still consider him much more viable a candidate than Trump.

I've always considered Arnold's election as indication that name recognition is a huge part of winning elections, and Trump is one of the most recognized names in America. I think we lucked out with Arnold, but Trump really, really has to be stopped.
