It looks like they just removed all Mike Pence events from the Trump campaign site

Trump's campaign website still lists two events for Pence:

I don't think Pence will actually drop out of the ticket, but I think he'll go silent for the most part for the rest of the election, and then later try to spin it some way, like him being VP for Trump as a favor to the party since Trump couldn't find a VP pick on his own, framing himself as a party loyalist or some horseshit to try and keep his shit floating. It'll kill any real chance of advancing his career, though.

I think he might drop if Trump does terrible at the debate tomorrow and also doesn't issue a sincere apology. It could potentially make him look principled for when 2020 rolls around.

That's still a lot of time he'll have to spend explaining his connection with Trump that he won't get to spend promoting any sort of platform.

I doubt he'll try to run for the 2020 election like some seem to think he will. I mean, he might, but he'll be DOA. I expect a large part of the first part of 2017 will consist of the GOP burying Trump to the best of their ability. Even if Pence piles in with them as his former running mate, he's still going to have that anchor around his neck. And if he manages to get to the general, it'll be easy-picking for Clinton, because all her campaign would have to do is put Pence in the hot seat about being Trump's VP running mate and the endless amount of times he defended Trump, it'd probably become the cornerstone of the election.

It'd be amazing to watch Trump sink another Presidential election indirectly, though.

I like how they keep trying to remind us that the video was from 11 years ago. Yes, I'm sure Trump has matured a lot since when he was a young newlywed 59yo man

God do I hate these "As a husband and father" prefaces.
So back when you weren't married or a father, this wouldn't have bothered you so much? A woman is only relatable as a wife or daughter? Fuck you, Pence, you're no better than him, you're the people who enable his bullshit.

Trump is in anti-establishment rage mode. He's seething as troubled GOP candidates turn their back to him, and worse, ask him to quit publically. I'm sure he's turning to the worst of his advisor at the moment, tomorrow night is going to be a shit show.

I wonder if pence will leave the ticket if he figures out at the debate that what is in Trump's heart is a bunch of shit on bill Clinton

I mean the only way out now is full frontal attack on bill, however precarious this might be. Have there been polls already taking his comments into account?

I hope Pence stays on so America can see how scum he is. I think most people (Dem and Rep leaning) only focus on the nice words these politicians say on stage and completely ignore or never know about their actual policies, beliefs, and bills they've passed in their home state(s).

We saw this with Kaisch here on the forums. Many people thought he was the most level headed moderate person up on the state during the Republican free for all debates. He said a few "Feel good" words about blacks, hispanics, women, Muslim and everyone was like "He's definitely the most moderate candidate, I wish he won." But his track record didn't jive with any of his spoken word.

I feel like I should open some fine old cognac, and just.....sit back and relax. Don't know why. Just feels like it.

I rather think about ways he can win, instead of the ways he can't. That way you can prepare your defense. Not that going into the offense is idea you can't consider, but in case of Hillary it's not the easiest task.

There probably isn't a topic that she is more prepared for. He will bring up Bill's infidelity and other allegations tomorrow night, I don't doubt it for a second at this point. But Hillary will have a response. It's just not an attack that works. Hillary is the victim when it comes to Bill's infidelity. I do believe it will be his last ditch effort to hit back, I just don't see how it lands.

Kasich really dodged a bullet, huh? Jeez oh man.

Yup, there was no fear on her face when he teased bringing it up at the last debate. Even if he found out the proper way to stump her, I don't trust him to be able to properly carry out that plan st the debate instead of complaining about rappers or talking about Sean Hannity.

Yeah, that's my feeling too.

Why are these people only bothered "as a husband and a father"? You should be bothered as a human fucking being.
Because there are a strange number (not all by any means) of men in this country who don't seem to care about women until they're either married or have a daughter. There's a bunch who don't care after either. We (society) seem happy to reward those guys with money, fame, and sex.

It is nothing to voters? Hillary wasn't president the last 8 years and she still gets blamed for everything (why not) that went wrong. Attacking bill is attacking Hillary, for a lot of voters contemplating voting trump.
Most sane people will be sympathetic for Hillary if Trump takes this angle of attack. ESPECIALLY after what's happening now.

Please Trump attack Bill during the debate. You can almost hear GOD himself telling Trump "please proceed, asshole."

Trump already said he wouldn't bring up Bill so we know that donald is a man of his wo...bahahwahwha

My biggest fear is Trump pulling out and Pence running in his place and crystalising the Republican vote at the last minute as if he's some kind of sane option between Trump and Hilary and is swept into power.

*gags*

Fuck. There's really no part of this that isn't fucking terrible.

Trump won't quit. His ego won't allow it. "I'm not quitter!"

Besides, he has his echo chamber that's telling him he's amazing and his supporters have his back.

Nah, as someone else said, Trump supporters would stay home and they would lose any chance of winning. That said it does irritate me how people actually like Pence. I had coworkers (even the liberal ones) telling me how much they liked Pence after the debate.

No offense (actually, fuck it, offense intended) but your coworkers are pretty dumb if they like Pence.

Even if God doesn't exist, the Universe would somehow will it into existence. Trump is the true unifier, not only in America, but the world.

His TEMPERAMENT is, well... it's presidential. He can be 100% wrong and awful, but he kept his cool, had thick skin, was unfazed by everything around him, and was calm and collected the entire debate.

... What he said, of course, was wrong, and his stances are abhorrent, but even I admit he says them like he's in control of the conversation.

Yeah, I'd say ignorant is a better word. If they knew more about him outside of just what they saw in the debate, they'd probably feel differently.
