Trump on Twitter Attacking Republican Leadership

In 4 years will Trump run again and get the nomination once more?

It would be amazing if the Republicans nominate this cheeto monster again.

I would imagine he doesn't think that far as losing this election is something he doesn't believe possible. People like him live in their own bubble, I can't imagine what losing will do to his psyche.

Doesn't that all occur when we vote for President, in November?

Also in 2 years. Senators terms are six years so when you can vote for their seat depends on when they came in (and honestly, you can look this up. I did. I knew that you didn't just vote for them in presidential elections but I wasn't quite sure exactly how it worked). Some will get voted on this year. But some will also in 2018. You also want to participate in local elections. Who gets up higher (like as president) starts small like local. So if you want a good pick for your side, you'll support the local elections and try to elevate the ones you really like.

If you really want to change our government by voting, the presidential election is not where you start.

Betting if the Republicans get destroyed come Nov, they'll make some changes so another Trump can't get near the primaries let alone the main presidential race. 1 of those things they could do was not have a ton of candidates to allow another Trump to have fox holes to toss grenades out of and hide in while the rest of the field tears itself apart.

Not sure that's the case. The way the US is heading, I'm half expecting the next presidential election cycle to feature Luke Wilson and Terry Crews.

They could also adopt the superdelegate model.

This kinda sucks I was hoping for a Biff Tannen future for me and my family. Now I get regular ass Hillary not driving us toward the apocalypse.

At the very least, I expect Trump to try and sabotage the GOP in 2020 (and maybe 2018).

He has been feuding for years with a television personality, why would he not feud with an entire political party snubbing him?

For a start, it should be mandatory fo new candidates for the highest position on this planet to have at least 4 years experience as Governor or cabinet member... Not allowing people who say "God wants me to participate" would be a clever move, too.

Were there new polls since that incident?

Not yet.

If you want "hard numbers" the only thing I have found so far is that the leaked tape caused 42 Republicans to speak against or unendorse him. Before the tape, the number was about 115 as a result of everything he has done over the course of his campaign. The tape has had FAR AND AWAY the biggest effect of anything so far.

I live in Georgia and have seen a couple of the ballots in play across the state and there are numerous districts where representatives are running unopposed. I'd say there were more seats with no challenger than there were contested races. I don't think the republicans have much to worry about when it comes to the House.
Most of the senate seats/house districts where Democrats can make gains this year are in blue states.

Larry Sabato did a thing where he gave 3 points to Clinton and took 3 points from Trump compared to Obama and Romney's 2012 totals. Clinton would swing 30 Romney districts - all but two are in Obama states (the other two are a district in Arizona and a district in Texas).

Blue state Democrats are taking this very seriously - red state Democrats are more screwed thanks to gerrymandering

Trump has systematically insulted every demographic in America and shown through his ever changing comments on his own freaking policies that he just goes up there, spouts whatever he feels is gonna make people happiest at that time, and leaves. Doesn't matter what you run him against at this point...the other candidate would be a better choice regardless of who it is.

Even if you are a Republican, this guy doesn't stand for anything but branding your party with so many stains that it'll never come clean enough in its image to win again. He doesn't know policy, he advocates war crimes, he's a misogynist, a racist, a complete xenophobe who thinks he can isolate us from all the world and piss all over them in the process and somehow NOT cause wars or cripple us on the world economic markets causing us to fall further behind, he's not paid taxes in nearly 20 years, someone who dealt illegally in trade with Cuba and Russia who is more than likely still backed by Russia given that US banks blacklisted him and a majority of his business was shimmed up by them, someone who misuses charities for tax shelters and self funding, is a habitual liar and not even good at hiding it given all the recordings we've seen, a draft dodger who openly mocks PTSD victims and real war heroes and someone who actually has the gall to think they are a hero for getting out of everything.

He'd burn the whole country but so long as he made it out of the fire okay at the end he'd brag about how smart he was and how he was fine making him better than everyone else who got destroyed during his reign.

This is a fairly accurate summary. You just forget to mention that he insults the disabled too.

Hilary cleans his clock in the debate again.
Everyone jumps from Trump's fake gold painted ark
Trump splits the GOP presidential vote
Trump splits the GOP House vote
Trump splits the GOP Senate vote
Dems clean house
Beautiful liberal future.

What a great weekend.

Add Clintons SCOTUS nominee. She can go full liberal. Fuck Obamas centrist pick. Republicans will wish they went with it.

What happened to not counting your chickens before they hatch? I've never been one to assume anything is a slam dunk. Hope for the best and celebrate after.

Trump's level of corruption and scummy behavior was never meant for this kind of spotlight. Mark my words, the only time you'll ever hear about this guy after the election will be during the coverage about the countless investigations into his business dealings and hopefully charges against him for sexual assault.
