It doesn't look that bad when you're playing. It's definitely a downgrade but I don't think it's that much of a problem.
The game is getting a bad wrap yet it's been my favourite to play thus far.
Evolution doesn't exist anymore.
Considering they basically destroyed the studio that made the original game, I'm guessing they had a skeleton crew work on this.
Looks better in the hewdset. That damn low resolution social screen does no favours.
I think a lot of the Evolution guys who went to Codemasters did actually work on this

I'm aware of that. Was wondering how much work was put in by Evo prior to being shut down and basically moved to Code Masters, but nm. Answered on stream.

vive is incredibly accurate with controllers and headset due to the tech in it.
gyro, multiple sensors in the controllers, as well as the two light houses gives the vive wands a 1:1 feel with mouse pointer like precision.

Yup, in the end, there's nothing like playing the game by yourself to experience it properly. I'm sure it must be feel and look great.

Critically it didn't do well at all. The game was a bit underwhelming out of the gate but with enough support and a great season pass it evolved into something great.

I don't get Jeff's hate for it. But it's deffinatly a game that got better with time.
It does, at least, the demo did.

It had issues being pushed back, massive server issues at launch, lack of a PS+ version of the game for well over a year before things improved. It never really recovered after things were righted by Evolution and Sony.
