Anyone that gets this which I imagine to be many of you are truly my family.
I hope this happens. Can you imagine the imminent chaos that would ensue? Websites would crash before the damn thing even goes up.

I would too love a new Metroid game but who would even be making it? Retro is reportedly working on a new IP. Internal doesn't seem interested in it either.

Outside of zelda and just dance (and i guess dq11) we really don't have too much concrete info on games coming for this thing. Emily and others have said we might get some wii u ports, but other than that, NX's software lineup is a mystery.
The software is easily the biggest mystery and the biggest thing to get excited about. This is what I want/care about.

I'm curious what makes you think the two controllers are two halves ostensibly of one controller when the EG leak said otherwise. Did the LPVG leak say so?

Because fans would buy both.
There is room for more than one cartoon racer, I think. If they expand the weapon customization and open world aspects from the original, and even add in some light platforming, it would be a very different experience.
Plus, Nintendo may want to keep the Mario Kart in the bullpen for a year, but still deliver a fun multiplayer racer at or near launch.

Banning him for GAF and the WUSTs was probably good for the poor guy's health.
I pretty much only have time to play GTA V these days (I speedrun the game and enjoy the hell out of that), but I'd obviously make time to play the big guns from Nintendo: 3D Mario, Zelda, new Retro game, Metroid if that ever happens, etc.

I never said or meant to imply that...
The LPVG article suggested that the two detachable controllers will have motion capabilities, so I'm theorizing that, when the controllers are detached to allow the screen portion to dock, each controller will become essentially a Wii motion + controller, but each will likely also have an analog stick/circle pad. You'd hold them in your hands separately, not combine them into one controller.
A short reminder for the ones who maybe missed it earlier.
