Hey so since we are basically sitting around on our thumbs while waiting for news: What do y'all think the secret is that the rumors have not hinted at? If you think there is one, that is. We have a lot of patents to draw from. So many, indeed, that drawing a clear conclusion from them is nigh-impossible. But if you had to guess. Supposedly, Nintendo is sitting on something that they have kept airtight. Que?
 
Has she ever specified if this news is coming from an outlet or directly from Nintendo themselves? If its an outlet like eurogamer again then yeah she would know that obviously.

Honestly I have no clue. It could be something obvious from the patents or it could be something completely different that no one thought of. I'm just kind of sitting back and waiting for what they'll show and take it as it is.

She just said "news this week and next week."

I did she aint said nothing... I didnt say it before either I said on twitter when I asked her! And I been following and her following me back we cool. I been knew her since like gonintendo breh. CHILL
 
I hoped that when I woke up this morning a thread with the name "NX reveal announced" would have appeared. But then I could access Neogaf and my hope was once again shattered.

"Don't judge my credibility based on when NX is revealed/announced. Judge my credibility based on the NX info I've reported for past 6 months"

and

"There is news this week. I just think everyone's behavior toward me is weird. That's all."

Yes, it's simply put terrible. One thing that I noticed is that she said everyone's behavior is weird but I think it's all quite rational here... Right?
 
Why all that pessimism? We are still in the half of the week! There are still 3 days left for news!

Like many people last week. Thinking that the system was delayed because by October 11th there was no presentation.

We will at least get an announcement this week, perhaps the reveal date for next week. There will be something, I can feel it! Visualize it! Be optimistic!
 
Yeah I'm also pretty positive we'll get something too. Even for Emily's sake, she even feels confident cause she unlocked her Twitter account :P

Because Nintendoom hovers on the edge of any discussion about Nintendo. It's basically a defense mechanism against the horror of hope at this point.
 
I feel sorry for you guys, the amount of hype and disappoint I've seen in just the last 5 pages would be enough to drive me mad!

Nah, it's weird because people draws conclusions too fast. Emily said news this week and next week. It could be ANYTHING. Like basically Nintendo's investor meeting. Nothing was said about a reveal or a reveal date. Although NateDrake kinda implied so.

In any case, Nintendo is the sole responsible for this mess. If they had common sense, the thing would be revealed and hyped already.

A total misread of what I suggested. I was certain I heard you say this before, I don't know who you were expecting to answer something that is specifically related to her which she hasn't disclosed.

She's smart enough to be very vague. So if nothing happens and the NX is just mentioned at next week's meeting (which is a given), she's still right. She learnt after making up stuff in the past.
 
What really bothers me is how Rogers feels she's being attacked for people just not believing her.

I mean, I know there are some stupid bigots who will say anything just because she's a woman, but those who just don't believe her at all because she has been wrong in the past?

Hmm yeach I forgot about that. I don't see a reveal this week unless we have the announcement today and reveal Friday but even that is a bit short... we will see !

NX and Christmas are cancelled, thanks Nintendo.


Man though I hope Emily is right about a lot of this, the Reddit meltdown will be too good.
