Point is, we really don't know for sure what the power level of this thing is, so please stop making assumptions and shitting on it before it gets shown. Wait <2 hours to see what it is before you act like you know everything about it.
Again posting that no one should expect the quoted scenario as it would likely be too expensive, but this post is intended to show that Tegra does not automatically mean lower power than XB1 (though it does highly suggest lower power consumption)

Eh... if the Cafe and WUST threads went on for, like, 4 months longer than they did - after we sat with no info for like a year, it might have been the same.
Wii U hype kind of died with E3 2011.

Wanna keep expectations low due to the Wii U being a misfire (albeit a misfire that I still hold in positive regard) and them dragging this NX charade out for so long...but the latter is also the reason why I can't help but be excite. Still can't believe it's finally happening, honestly.
Let's go.
Prediction:
First minute:
Miyamoto shows up, putting on his jacket.
Miyamoto walks trough a hall, meets Reggie.
M: "Are you ready"

Second Minute:
Power rangers themes goes on.
Bill follows Miyamoto and Reggie.

This was already addressed, the consensus seems that the message they want to convey is that it's a Home Console that you can bring out, instead of a handheld that you can plug in your TV. Obviously, it's just wording

I'm wondering if maybe they might be pushing it now as a home console and then later on (say next Christmas) they release a cheaper dockless version (perhaps with a slightly smaller screen) to go after the handheld market

I wonder if this is going to move mountains or be another meh system. There's a lot of hype surrounding this. I think it will be another Wii U system but the wii u tablet is a 3DS instead that can be connected much like using the 3DS as a controller for smash bros 3ds. I'm curious but chances are I won't be impressed. VR has got all the immersion so far, can't really compete against that.

I'd expect that at the full reveal which could be as early as next week. Not today. Likely just one first party game today, rumored to be a new Mario game built specifically for NX.

More than enough for me. If the rumor that the screen is 720p and if it has Wii U level power it will be the best handheld ever. Also I used Off-TV play for most WiiU games anyway (I have kids).

Legitimately Hyped!! But at the same time worried about ergonomics or the possibility of having Zelda at 1080p. Also glad Emily is right because the hate towards her in the last thread was way overboard, not deserved at all. Can't believe we are finally so close to a (partial) reveal.
