The transition from stretcher spot to bell was sloppy and cornball as fuck and the table botches killed the match. It started great outside of the cage and some of the chair spots were good though.
I don't know why those things really mattered.

I don't have a problem with the stretcher job because, as has been pointed out in the thread, the crowd popped huge for her going back into the cell, and that counts for a lot.

The table spots are a real problem, and I think it has to do with both women failing to improvise and try to save face. When Charlotte falls on a table and it sort of just collapses, Sasha rolls her into the ring and goes for a pin off that awkwardness. In the ending, it would have been a lot more effective if Charlotte throwed her into the table of couple more times, instead of just going for her finisher which came off as flat after the brutality that was on display prior.

Basically, I think it was a failure from both women to make the best of a bad situation, and so it stuck out like a sore thumb. Certainly did not think it ruined the match, but it brought it down a peg.

Or try rearranging the table and attempt the moonsault that didn't came off earlier. That would have been a lot better finish.

Either way I don't like this continuous switching. Sasha either shouldn't have won the belt on raw only to hand it back on a PPV or she should have won it here. What we would see now is the age old promo "I'm the queen and the rightful owner of the Women's title".."Naw bitch I'm the BOSS"

I think that until RAW change their format, they should never consider Asuka to go to the RAW roster. Asuka fits in the Smackdown roster and even then, she shouldn't go until Smackdown has more legitimate women fighters. Right now, frankly, no women in either division other than Charlotte and NIa is ready for Asuka so Asuka is better off staying in NXT until the shows are ready for her.

So is she Charlotte Flair or Charlotte?

On Raw, they started calling her Charlotte Flair about 600 times and changed her name on WWE.Com and all the social media stuff. Her boots now have the "CF" initials on them, but they went back to calling her just "Charlotte" tonight.

I don't understand the ending.

The Japanese tables and a Queen beat someone

Both shows will never be ready for her.

Ugh, Meltzer says that WWE is going to move forward with Charlotte / Bayley for the title shortly. Its the next logical feud but Bayley has been hurt so badly by feuding with Dana that this isn't going to be hot at all.

What an absolute turd of a show

Only the rusev and rollins match were decent, and they had garbage finishers anyway

best match was the PRESHOW MATCH. jesus

Is Rollin's forehead made of steel? It used to take like 1 or 2 face firsts into the cell to bust someone open ;)

Poor Sasha, her booking is total shit. What's the point in having her win the title on raw, lose it at the next ppv, win it on raw again then lose it again at the next ppv? So stupid.

50/50 booking.

Don't worry, Charlotte will get the feud hot tonight by coming out and yelling into the microphone as loud as she possibly can for 5 minutes straight, having Bayley interrupt her, then yell into the microphone as loud as possible for another couple of minutes, then attack Bayley, then yell into the microphone as loud as she can one last time.

Yeah that women's cell match sucked. Not only did the beginning hurt the match, it was filled with a lot of spot to spot transitions with very little flow and chemistry. It just wasn't a good cell match and it had a lot of what these women think a great match on the main roster is: big spots with little flow.

They gotta do better next time. People were watching not because they were amazed but because they were hoping they don't kill each other.

Meh the main event was ok shame the tables didn't work especially the end one, may be Banks isn't heavy enough to break them. It kind of blunted the ending and i'm at a loss as to why Banks had to loose the belt so soon especially it being a "home" match.

Gonna go out on a limb and say the Raw writers don't like the fans.

Women's match had no heat going in, botched spots, unlucky spots and a godawful ending (I assume they had to make it up as they went after the table didn't break), and the hometown hero LOST.

Vince is going to look at this as affirmation of his view they shouldn't have gotten the main event, and it's less likely that when they actually have good heat on a women's feud and it makes sense for them to go on last he'll agree, he'll just point to this match. Which is stupid, but it's vince.

If we are moving to Charlotte/Bayley, which I'm still doubtful of, does that mean it's time for a billion Sasha/Dana matches?

Could be Sasha/Nia. Nia seems to have disappeared to superstars for the last month or so. They need to turn Sasha heel soon though

That first table was the strangest break I've seen - the bottom part of the legs snapped off on one side- you see Sasha throw it later.

I think they sacrificed all of their table luck for the night making sure Owens didn't die. I was expecting the half of the table that was tucked into the cage to fly forward into the back of Owens' head when he hit it.

Owens vs Rollins was okay but kinda forgetful. I have zero investment in that feud so that doesn't help.

Despite the poor handling of the feud (and the ending) I really enjoyed Sasha vs Charlotte. The beginning was a little too "remember Foley v Taker?" but from then on it was a good Hell In a Cell match.

The whole PPV was forgetful but well, I was expecting it from a Raw PPV.

Really disappointed in the main event. It felt like they would build up to something really big and then nothing happened. Also the botches were rough.

Owens V Rollins stole the show.

I really enjoyed Sasha/Charlotte, but RAW's booking...

Whew

It's not good. They need to figure out how to make it work. Smackdown has it's thing downpat. RAW doesn't.

Or better yet, it does, but it's not good.

Also, I came into HiaC knowing that the hot takes would be in full swing unless Sasha/Charlotte was twice as good as anything on the show. So it's whatever, what's more important to me was what the roster and the wrestling world got out of it.

Like Lita crying for instance post-PPV. To me, that means more. It was a trailblazer, regardless of it's arguable quality.
